D7 food is not as good as AK. Maybe due to the long distances.
Sometimes the rice is dry and hard, sometimes it is soggy, sometimes it is just nice....
If i'm not wrong, D7 is catered by Brahim Skychefs, AK is catered from its own selected vendors from town, then all put together in their catering warehouse before being sent to the planes.

odd question but where do presidents put up on visits like this, luxury hotels?

Lots of paperwork imvolved
Why was the Indigo pilot very reluctant to declare a pan or mayday? Any penalty or extra charges to be paid to the authorities when declaring it?
Lots of paperwork I guess. Airport emergency services will be deployed, don't know if they will be charged for that.

Hahahaha love the dancing seats!

Our fellow member MIchael does.Who cares? Skytrax is toilet paper.
On another note I hope MH loses it's 5 star status. Another kick in the backside for them to improve.

Use the back way via LCCT

assuming you were booked on SIN-KUL-MEL-KUL-SIN, if you don't show up on the SIN-KUL sector the system will cancel the rest. The last sector doesn't matter, just let them know to not check your bags all the way through to SIN.

Despite the cut backs they are still a 5 star airline where as TG is only 4 star same as EK.
Good for MH

If they can do it last time (pre cost cutting days) why not now. Maybe new aircraft galley ovens are smaller? New carts are smaller?

Any cabin crew can confirm? As far as i can remember the ikan bilis and peanuts are served in a small plastic container. That should not be that hard to serve.

Was on an ex KA bird few months ago, can see traces of KA branding in the lavatory.

AK Has mini bases in PEN, BKI, KCH, latest being JHB after they failed to lobby for a Singsporean AOC. Also AK needs places to park its planes , current LCCT is getting a bit out of hand.
On top of your list for QZ I believe they have a base in BDO too although I might be wrong.

My 2 sens worth
1) ICAO has classified aircrafts to various wake vortex categories and has provided recommended seperation minima that is to be practiced to avoid effects of wake turbulence. This is however not a hard and fast rule that must be followed. Clearance to land (at least in KUL) is granted by the tower when the preceding aircraft has vacated the runway. Whether or not a safe landing can be made is to the judgement of the flight crew. Typically a 737 (medium category) following an A380 (super category) is recommended to have at least 7nm seperation on approach according to ICAO. Whether or not this is adhered to is depending on the flight crew. It can be that the A380 did not follow the speed control procedure in KUL causing him to slow down too early, and letting the aircraft behind catch up or it could be the pilots slowed down a bit late. I'm not here to judge the crew but just to let you know that there are many reason to this happening. There are also times when there is a need to abort the landing due to wake turbulence during the last 50 feet during the flare.Though the flight crew will always anticipate for wake turbulence when following a heavier aircraft, and will be prepared to counter the effects. As to my knowledge I don't think there's a wake turbulence detector.
2) I have not personally heard of any aircraft breaking into half due to wake turbulence, windshear yes.
3) The captain may write in if he suspects a hard landing has been made. When that happens, the aircraft is grounded until it is certified fit to fly by the engineers. Also on some aircrafts engineering may preset a landing G limit to the aircraft in which if the aircraft exceeds the said G or sink rate during landing it triggers a report and engineers will have a look at it when the aircraft is at the gate.

Understand MAHB insisted AirAsia on using their check in system by SITA which is less versatile and more costly. Lot's of modification/reconfiguration needed especially on AirAsia's self help kiosks. Lots of those are abandoned in LCCT.
