before a person leaves the airport?
WOW...something really interesting...but i believe that 90% people would have their PC or any other equip loaded with these stuff...
by the ways how do they scan the pc? when someone could hide those files in other manner in their hd, there are lots of ways to get this files undetected...

Guys i passed my medical check up! According to the HR at MH, my send off date would be sometime in May to HMA Langkawi...which makes me wonder, i could be in the same batch as our fellow MWer, Brennan! Imagine two MWers in one batch...i'd say, MW.com is definitely making an impact in the aviation industry

Just a question...when a blackout occurs...would the ATC be affected by it as well? Seeing as how the 'World's Best Airport' doesn't have a backup generator...how about the 'World's Best Airport's ' Control Tower?Yeah, just imagine, no ATC...
But maybe could be taken over by another ATC around maybe Subang (just silly thought).

hey guys, finally received call from MAS...and informed that our Batch #12 will be sent off on 18th March to APFT at kota Bahru instead of HMA...mayb HMA can't accept any new intake due to the delay of the courses...Hopefully this time no more postpone and will be sent off as schedule..

Good to hear that man .. MAS called you and informed about your intake (Batch 12) on the 18th Of March. Is that after your briefing or is your briefing on the 18th? Just curious?

Hey Pall, wasup..The medical check up is thorough. Eye check, Audio( Ear) test, Cardio, Blood test, Urine test, Reflex test, and a check up by the doctor.
The last time i called the MAS HR, the HR personal told me my batch would be in end of FEB/ early March. But recently, the January 07 ( Batch 12) send off day has been postponed to the 5th of March. so i dont know if my batch schedule has also been postponed. MAS will not call and tell you your results for the medical but if you are selected they will call you when they have a date for the briefing..Most cadets call MAS HR to find out their results..
In my case here, im patiently waiting for my results hoping it would come soon..if i have to call them one day i will.. Well.. hopefully it will be good news..

It actually depends on the carrier in which they fly for..Some of their salaries vary due to experience and so on..
I think as for MAS, its also for 30k & above for maybe 15 yrs of exp and above
But whatever it is, its still good

RM 3383 per month is for when you are still under route training and not cleared to operate as a full fledged SO2nd Officer
1st year - RM4055 ( cleared and now full fledged Second Officer )
2nd year - RM4288
3rd year - RM4534
1st Officer
Narrow Body ( twin otter, fokker 50 or Boeing 737)
RM4787 - RM7601
Wide Body ( Airbus 330, Boeing 777 and Boeing 747
RM7317 - RM9351
As i understad it a capt max take home is close to or just under RM 20k(max) thats when you are close to retirement.
Cadet Pilot Training Repayment
RM500/month
Productivity
Narrowbody = RM 15 per hour
Widebody = RM22 per hour (average 70hrs/month)
Above 80hours you get rm 80 per hour
The above figure haven been deducted with TAX and EPF.

I think a capt who is close to retirement or middle age for his career will receive almost 30K or more but definetely sure not less than 20k.

If less than 20k when close to retirement than i think its quite low compared to other carriers....

Passenger load possibly, benchmark calculation for cost is probably a reason for it to be delayed...
just imagine for eg 1pm flight and 5pm flight to same destination... (both passengers incl 1pm and 5pm flight, pax less than 180, how to cut cost? delay 1 plane lahhhh..save a lot right?) what could be other reason as its the same thing everytime
