  1. Haze is back in KUL and despite the expected dull weather, we took Father's Day as excuse to visit Anjung Tinjau in the morning. :pardon:

When we reached Anjung Tinjau, we got more than what we were asking for ..... TSRA & Rwy 14R departure :diablo:

Of course, our main target is this Air China CA0012 departing at 1000 to Male :friends:

Komplek Bunga Raya is just next to 14R and this CA A330 could just taxi out and depart without passing by Anjung Tinjau. :search:

Our hope of catching her is still there as Rwy 14R is shorten, some heavies still make their way to 14L for departure. :air_kiss:

By 1000, at least the rain was gone with haze taking over while the sun was resting behind a lot of grey clouds. A Follow Me car was leading her to 14L or 14R ? :bad:

Guys, your turn to show the rest of the photos. :drinks:

  2. B-6130 left earlier than expected, it departed to Male earlier today as CCA012

Thanks MIR, some of us "escorted" her departure from Anjung Tinjau this morning on a wet day (as defined by TK to me) :pardon:

Both XAC and XAB are back to their previous parking spot between MTB and runway 32R. Both are in all-white cs.

Yes, Capt Radzi, we saw both aircraft in pure white and spotless too. :acute:

  3. Today they are using 14L for landing only in the afternoon.

There are some spots on the roadside to the LCCT where you can get some shots, maybe between or above the light poles.

    .

    .

MPL arriving as MH 1 from LHR. Next month the equipment could be different.

I didn't really stay long, as I wanted to check out another old favorite. Today I managed to drive all the way up the the old spot in the ladang, no mud due to the dry season and no gate either. Unfortunately the ladang as a spotting spot is truly dead, as the palm trees has grown tall.

    .

    .

First time I went to the spot in at least 4 years, and don't think I'll ever go there again.

Just hope that they'll use 14L in the morning; that is our last hope.

    Capt Radzi, welcome back. :drinks:

Ladang is really not so suitable for 14L landing with the palm trees growing taller like in your photo. :diablo:

Will have to make do with the limited available spots. :pardon:

  4. KUL 14 season is starting ....... :clapping:

Just happen to switch over to Flightradar24.com and saw this flight CA0012 from Phnom Penh according to KLIA website.

Who is the VIP visiting Malaysia ? :help:

Hope someone in KUL to capture her arrival and share the photos here. :pardon:
