Nice weather and good catch of MND.
-
Azahan, very nice shots for those evening shots
-
It is year end and our famous rainy season is here .....
Imagine at 1300 with ISO 1250 to capture this AK
At least I am happy to get this classic earlier before the rain
-
Thanks for pointing it out.

Was at Observation Hill this morning...
Wow Ah Kong, you have special pass to Oscar Hotel ?
I want to borrow from you. Can ah ?

Bluey Niner Niner Three Niner from Melbourne. VH-XFA
She arrived at 2.25pm local time with overcast conditions. If she delays by another hour or so, she would have bathe in good sunlight.
Ah Ong, good shots even in such overcast condition.

Ha ha Waiping, why all your food photos look blur ?
Either you were too hungry or the food was too delicious.
-
Flee, thanks for the quick update of the gathering.
Ha ha! The snake oil salesman was in town as well.
Good location spot for the MS & TG retro shots. Where's the location of these shots ?
Anyway, being together with MWingers would over ride the dull weather.
Awaiting for more shots from others.
-
Enjoy the gathering and I hope my pre order of blue sky and good light were delivered on time.
Weather in KUL was hazy and a day to forget for plane spotting.
Good choice of choosing BKK and I will toast Singha Beer to you guys.
-
Chaity,
Where are you?
Thank you guys for the lovely shots for the historical moments for MH.
Good to see shots from different angles and especially from OH.
I wish I was there but work comes first.

some got no clue what is CRM..."Captain (is always) Right Management"
What a good way to start my morning by "learning" something about CRM
-
Good one Hon Kit !
Really challenging to get those smoky touchdown shots without blocking by those palm trees.
Spotting in Ladang has elevated to another level of challenge.

Haze is back in KUL and despite the expected dull weather, we took Father's Day as excuse to visit Anjung Tinjau in the morning.
When we reached Anjung Tinjau, we got more than what we were asking for ..... TSRA & Rwy 14R departure
Of course, our main target is this Air China CA0012 departing at 1000 to Male
Komplek Bunga Raya is just next to 14R and this CA A330 could just taxi out and depart without passing by Anjung Tinjau.
Our hope of catching her is still there as Rwy 14R is shorten, some heavies still make their way to 14L for departure.
By 1000, at least the rain was gone with haze taking over while the sun was resting behind a lot of grey clouds. A Follow Me car was leading her to 14L or 14R ?
Guys, your turn to show the rest of the photos.

Just to share 9M-XAB & XAC are back in KUL in a white gown
-
Lim Lim, lovely photos and the light there was so good.
Pack some into your 74F and send them back to KUL. We needed the good weather desperately here.
-
Good catch Ah Ong considering in such hazy condition.
You must be a damn good filter clearing the haze around the aircraft.
-
B-6130 left earlier than expected, it departed to Male earlier today as CCA012
Thanks MIR, some of us "escorted" her departure from Anjung Tinjau this morning on a wet day (as defined by TK to me)
Both XAC and XAB are back to their previous parking spot between MTB and runway 32R. Both are in all-white cs.
Yes, Capt Radzi, we saw both aircraft in pure white and spotless too.
-
He Guoqiang. Click here
Probably leaving on Monday or Tuesday to Pulkovo.
Thanks MIR for the info and link.
The CA A330 will be resting in KUL for a few days ?
If so, those doing walkaround in KUL tarmac, get your camera ready.

Today they are using 14L for landing only in the afternoon.
There are some spots on the roadside to the LCCT where you can get some shots, maybe between or above the light poles.

MPL arriving as MH 1 from LHR. Next month the equipment could be different.
I didn't really stay long, as I wanted to check out another old favorite. Today I managed to drive all the way up the the old spot in the ladang, no mud due to the dry season and no gate either. Unfortunately the ladang as a spotting spot is truly dead, as the palm trees has grown tall.
.
.
First time I went to the spot in at least 4 years, and don't think I'll ever go there again.
Just hope that they'll use 14L in the morning; that is our last hope.
Capt Radzi, welcome back.
Ladang is really not so suitable for 14L landing with the palm trees growing taller like in your photo.
Will have to make do with the limited available spots.

It might have something to do with panda bears?
Panda ? So fast ? The news was out not long ago.
No Fedex special Panda livery kah ?

KUL 14 season is starting .......
Just happen to switch over to Flightradar24.com and saw this flight CA0012 from Phnom Penh according to KLIA website.
Who is the VIP visiting Malaysia ?
Hope someone in KUL to capture her arrival and share the photos here.

Nice shots guys! Chaity, was that Gazprom Avia BBJ photographed on 4th June?
You are right MIR, it was 4th June Monday.

Wow HonKit, you are fast. I just finished my dinner and your photos are up.
Here's one for 32R in the morning.
9M-AQQ photo will be in 32L thread.
