  1. Inter district travelling is allowed at last. More than a year for me didn't set foot on KLIA. Is was like deja vu doing plane spotting here in the olden days. Not so much on the slow traffic but airport authorities started closing some of our usual spots and ask to beredar. 😤 Plane spotters again treated like villains after the pandemic. OK, enough of ranting, getting a few shots are still better than not getting. Rwy 14R in use for months now. Some morning actions.
  2. Thanks Flee for bringing up this thread. Plane spotting is like a foreign language for most of us this year and last. Looking forward for 17th anniversary when situation gets better. A big thank you to all Mwings founder, moderators and members for keeping this site moving despite slowly !
  3. Hi Hakan, thanks for sharing those lovely photos. I like the row of TK planes view from top. Do keep the forum alive with your photos. Most of us here are "prohibited" from going to airport for plane spotting.
  4. Flee, nice light on that IL96 photo. How we yearn for Soviet birds over here. No matter how big or small, always something to look forward to. IL-76

  7. For those new to this site, before you jump in joy to start your car or wanted to book your plane ticket here, read on post dated December 22 2019 by KS Ong to look at the recent development -->http://www.malaysianwings.com/forum/index.php?/topic/21379-kul-32l-2019/page/2/#comments
  8. Ah Ong, thanks for sharing the above photos about the latest development at Anjung Spotter. It seems like within the organisation, there are departments against each other. Anjung Spotter is there which is great, yet some genius decided to hang wires and CDs to obstruct the vantage views. The above development certainly bringing me to link to the current New Malaysia kind of development. The head carried out so initial plans but on the other level, they will derail or make the plans to fail. Of course I am not saying the above Anjung Spotter issue is political linked, just how I feel about the similarity of the two. Well, thanks for the Anjung Spotter but I will have to move on to other places until the wire and CDs are gone.

  16. Many thanks to Ah Ong for covering this important event for recognising plane spotters at last. You did sum up well in the first paragraph the challenges and frustrations most of us were facing during the olden days ! My wish is simple for all visitors to Anjung Spotter to up keep and maintain the place for all to enjoy in years to come.
  17. The structure is ready and work still in progress. It is not open yet with workers working there. If you ask nicely, they may allow you to be on the platform as long as not obstructing the work. Photo taken last week

  23. Air NZ first A321NEO on delivery flight en route KUL. She was gated at KLIA2 after her arrival from MCT yesterday night. A bit of wild guess for us if she would depart from Rwy 32R or Rwy 33. Eventually, Rwy 33 was the chosen runway for her to continue her journey to Cairns, Australia.
  24. 19 Aug 2018 NZ1941 special light to KUL
