MPL Multicrew Pilots License school starting in S'pore?

Recommended Posts

For those of you aspiring to become airline pilots, the Multi Crew Pilots License (MPL) is probably the quickest ropute to go from 0 hours to the right hand seat of an airliner. Some say this can be done in as fast as 12 to 18 months. The MPL is a relatively new pilots license and I only know of one flying school currently offering it in the Phillipines. Alteon in Brisbane has a beta programme underway with a few cadets from China. However, it appears that there will be a flying school offering the MPL soon, based in Singapore. This notice was posted on another discussion forum about a new MPL program starting in soon in the region. Any guesses as to who this training provider in SG might be?

Advance notice only

A new organisation will be commencing operation as flying training organisation very shortly. The HQ will be in Singapore and the flying training schools will be located near Melbourne. The core business will be MPL training.

We will be recruiting personnel shortly. We will require Chief Flight Instructor, Flight Instructors and also Ground Instructors. There will also be an opening for Chief Pilot shortly.

Further detail will be posted when available.

This report refers to newly setup school in singapore. But if it true, then it wil be the second school after Singapore Fying College (SFC) that produce MPL crew. At the moment, SFC is doing MPL on 'trial' basis & first trial batch has checkout as FO more than a year ago.
