xtemujin 0 Report post Posted July 26, 2012 (edited) Air New Zealand introduces new livery By: Mavis Toh Singapore 07:05 23 July 2012 , Monday Air New Zealand is introducing a new livery, complete with a fresh lettering style and a move away from blue and green tones on aircraft tails. While its iconic symbol, the Koru, will remain, it will be set on a black tail. The carrier will also be introducing a new lettering on its livery, modernising it, says its chief executive Rob Fyfe. The changes will be made on all new aircraft entering its fleet. "Black has resonated well with our customers and staff who identify with it as the colour of New Zealand and a natural choice for our national airline. It inspires pride, is part of our Kiwi identity and a symbol of Kiwi success on the world stage," says Fyfe. The carrier started using black as its corporate colour ahead of its All Blacks' campaign last year, where it sponsored the New Zealand Rugby Union and the All Blacks team. Its newest Boeing 777-300ER, registration ZK-OKQ, delivered in January, was also painted in a black colour scheme. http://www.flightglo...-livery-374608/ Edited July 26, 2012 by xtemujin
S V Choong 4 Report post Posted July 27, 2012 Looks pretty 'creative', the Kiwi 'ingenuity'. Okay, sarcasm off.
Syed A Ridhwan 0 Report post Posted July 27, 2012 First it was the Pacific Wave (some of their aircraft are still sporting the Pacific Wave though), now they are changing the colour from teal to black. I'm going to miss the teal coloured theme after this
