alberttky 0 Report post Posted October 27, 2011 JAKARTA - Sixty one foreign embassies in Jakarta have agreed to use the services of national flag carrier Garuda Indonesia for both domestic and international flights under a new agreement inked Wednesday. The agreement was signed by Garuda president director Emirsyah Satar and representatives of the 61 embassies. "The signing of the agreement is part of Garuda Indonesia's efforts to expand its market. It is also expected to help tighten relations between Indonesia and other countries," Emirsyah said after the signing ceremony as quoted by tempointeraktif.com. He added that through the new partnership, all the embassies' staff and their families would now enjoy special prices and services on Garuda's domestic and international flights. "They can now enjoy special net corporate fares, priority reservations and city check-in." Emirsyah added. Among the 61 embassies are those of Afghanistan, Bosnia, France, Germany, Norway, Oman, Spain, Britain , Australia, Brunei, Italy, Japan, Myanmar and Srilanka.
