A CASA 212 Aviocar 100 PK-ZAI belonging to SMAC crashed on approach to Tg Pinang Airport. Cire 0 Report post Posted February 16, 2011 Yup, read about the crash. Thought it would be depressing to post such articles here. The Aviocar was on a training flight after having its engine replaced. It disappeared from the radar scope shortly after taking flight. There's no distress call etc. Resident phoned up to inform the authorities about the crash. Could be engine failure and spun out of control.
