We stayed at the Jakarta Airport Hotel with rooms overlooking the ramp dosent get any better than that! A free shuttle bus transits regularly between terminals and viewing from the terrace is thru metal mesh. Shooting aircraft with lets say 70-300mm lens no problem. Hi Greg, thanks for the information and the nice pics! What about security issues around the airport? I heard about the "fence" in front of the viewing terace - I hope the meshes are large enough to use me 67mm diameter lens. ... and one last question regarding the light: When are the light conditions optimal on the terrace and where can I go when the light is poor (backlit) Cheers, Jens Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
