According to this article http://www.thehindub...e?homepage=true Air India is resuming DEL-KUL starting 1st August. Wonder what aircraft they'll use?
On another news, Lion Air is resuming SUB - KUL this month. The schedule is on their website but still not bookable yet.
Great news there, thanks Reezal. In addition they are also adding their 3rd Daily flight into KUL. Its not bookable yet as well.

Nice Catch there KS Ong. Is the Kenya Airways Cargo operating scheduled cargo flights or was that a one of flight?
-
Nice catches there Liew. There was an Evergreen 747-100 at KUL yday, today spotted a Saudi Cargo MD-11 at the remote stand.
-
Also read that Garuda has started 3rd daily flight on CGK-KUL route.
Later this year, it would start flying Medan-Penang
Yeap Garuda have already started 3rd daily. We can also expect Garuda Citilink, Sriwijaya and Maybe Mandala to start ops to KUL within this year or a years period. Sriwijaya are very keen to start it this year.

Uzbekistan Airways combining BKK/KUL and upping it to 5 weekly
-
It seems that Indonesian Carriers are now targeting KUL
-
They should also start flying to KUL sometime this year with their Boeing 737-500's.
-
Some updates. Lion Air has gone Double Daily on CGK-KUL-CGK. More chances to spot their B739's.

Wouldn't be surprised if Lion add's more flights in 2012.
Uzbekistan is also back to 3 weekly for S12 season

Hahaha not me boss. Captain knew what he was doing.

From what my insider in the engineering side said, the A340's are most probably going to be based with Air Asia Japan to fly to Hawaii and another American destination. Lets just wait and see. BOM and DEL are going very soon, its just a matter of time. Loads are like s#1t. MAS is doing a lot better in terms of pax. Indian's have money to spend and more or likely not prefer to travel on MAS.

Is there any well-known airport in the world with a dual mode runway as of today?
Never really thought about it until this was brought up.
Jakarta, CGK uses dual mode runway's

First class costing more than 30 to 55K in MYR? Shoot! You can own a good local made car!
You seriously think passengers who do fly First Class are actually going to buy a "Local Mae Car"? Think again Mate!
-
Great shots there Laurie of the jets. Keep em coming!
-
Fantastic Shots there KS. Good catch. Looking foward to more great shots from everyone else this coming next few days.

Sorry for the substandard photo, just had my phone with me that time. Nevertheless just for sharing, first time to see a A330F for Hong Kong Airlines Cargo at PEN. No idea for the schedule.
Hong Kong Airlines Cargo = Air Hong Kong = DHL ????
Nice catch Wilson. I've seen them a couple of times on flightradar departing out of PEN. I think they may have started scheduled flights or it simply could just be chartered flights.
-
Nice catch Hon Kit. Was this a test flight?

UL puts the A320 on new direct flights to KL. Best to catch the Wide bodies before they are gone.

Hope this paves way for the other Philippine's carriers to start flying to KUL.

The Bad:
May possibly be the end of CES spell on the KMG-NNG-KUL route and hopefully Shenzhen comes back on this route.

Most of the Indian airlines use narrowbody to Malaysia, while MH and AK use widebody to India.
Yes that is true but quite alot of them also use narrowbody's to SIN. You do get the A330's and B777 from the Indian carriers but a majority is still flown on narrowbody but as i've said last time KUL is so underserved from India vs SIN. Its amazing the amount of Indian Carriers that fly into SIN. Its a shame we can't be on PAR with sin.
