Their FB page is having a meltdown.......
In this age, customer service is very important. Mess up and watch the mistake explode on the internet. Even MAB had its share of meltdown regarding overbooking although not as bad as this. (refer to the blogger's rant)
Before the internet and social media age, I think this would not have blown up on the news.

Most of the comments on MH Facebook page after the crash was supportive
Only some went on to criticize

the 777 would be interim to restart AMS in 2019/2020? Why not increase the A350 fleet
The price for leased 777 would be dropping below the a350 even if it means more money spend on a different plane type instead of a common fleet
interesting..
-
Any idea what the current status is of the stored 772?
Dose MAB actually still own any?
-
Would love to see the 777 in the stroke liveryWill be great to see the 777 back in MAS.
Maybe there were good reasons for it, but I always thought it was premature to retire their 772s, some of which are still idling around KUL.
If only they refurbished them ages ago. They could have been put to good use now and allow MAS to capitalise on the increased demand while they sort out their long term wide body fleeting plans.

When will MH get theirs?
Not to belittle the livery, but would it be nice if they use Malaysian style batik canting for the tail?
-
maybe a one off special livery but to repaint the whole fleet is going to cost money
-
from 25 now 42???
Would be interesting if MAB would change the interior of the second-hand widebody jets
or will the existing interior be good enough
-
Didn't MAB want to get rid of their 772? Are they regretting letting all of them go
I was hoping MAB was going to keep a few of the ER and outfit them with updated interiors similar to the 330 (thomson seats)
But then it probably was just going to cost MAB money keeping those planes?

Najib! Make the deal happen
We already got great deal with Scorpene

China Airlines used a Boeing livery

We will never know the truth

KLIA is over 20 years old
barely anything has been done to upgrade the terminal. Now its looking like a high tech market
-
Too early for MAB's A350 to be showcased during LIMA
-
What airlines use B/E Aerospace economy seats
-
longer range small jets allows you to bypass hubs in many cases?
-
Will we get to hear some news on aircraft choice during LIMA?
-
give snack box with some biscuits and chips would be fine
why not serve curry puff like on Firefly
-
will the A330NEO have lower cabin altitude like the 787?
-
At least make the cabin consistent. That is all I ask for. No need for fancy SQ biz class
Yes those old 737 interiors need to go asap
-
Rebranding costs money and this may not be something they can or want to do right now.
What I think MAB needs to focus on is to get the hard and soft products right on the A350. Take South African's new A330 interior as a good example.
Keep the same branding, but enhance it in the interior using colors, designed panels etc. China Airlines is doing this, so is South African Airways
Priestmangoode has been designing some great cabin interiors
Also remember, MAB is supposed to get new cabin crew uniforms. Is this still happening?

Am I asking for too much?

No matter what livery u put on the A380 it is difficult to get a decent looking one due to the double deck dugong sized fuselage this is where the 747 looks much better in looks. IMO the MAS swoosh livery looks good enough on the A350 luckily it wasnt painted on the A380, now its up to MAB to keep it looking clean outside and inside.
the only livery that fits the A380 is the billboard title livery like with Emirates and Singapore Airlines
also since the A350 will soon take over AKL and NRT A330 flights, the A330 could be moved to other popular routes currently using the 737?

That giant Malaysia flag logo is so out of place
