Totally agree. Bigpay is actually quite useless other than using it for booking with Airasia. Have to get the card to save hundreds in processing fee

I don;t it is a big issue Counter C and H aren't that far anyway. There are multiple screens FID now in front of all check-in islands, so getting lost in KLIA check in area is high impossible. Paris CDG is another stories.......out of this world.
Like everything french, they tend to complicate every single thing.

What is the rational behind this arrangement? some pax will unknowingly check-in at wrong counter.
Unless the poor soul cant read, chances are low that he will end up at the wrong check in counter.

KUALA LUMPUR, July 18 : The Kuala Lumpur High Court has ordered low-cost carrier AirAsia to pay RM40.73 million in unpaid passenger service charges (PSC) which the airline refused to collect for six months last year.
PSC collection alone is RM80m a year is a financially feasible project. Unless cost over run substantially, otherwise anyone with funding and financial discipline could complete the project.
They are focusing to be asset-light airline. Basically sold everything non core assets like training, ground handling, aircrafts and frequent flyer program next on the card.
What makes you think running own airport will be high on their agenda?
New airport easily costs at least MYR 4 billion at least.
They cant/wont even pay MYR 40 million without all the hassles. And its tax, tax goes to the government. Not MAHB. You complaint to the government lah. MAHB tolong kutip sahaja. Everyone pays.
Go figure.
Still have much respect for TF but wont be drawn into his game of diverting attention when High Court was not on their side.

Official press statement. https://newsroom.airasia.com/news/2019/7/19/high-court-ruling-over-uncollected-passenger-service-charges-at-klia2
One would wonder what would have happened if TF went ahead and build his own airport with Sime Darby at Labu. The moment one argues "klia is the same as klia2,if hot, even better. " I will roll my eyes.
He would probably build it halfway and then throw in the towel and who will pick it up? The government. By then he will cry no airlines should have build its own airport

Jani youre not joking right??
Looking forward for the mall.

Ok sensational piece of news by TheStar.

Heyya gents, 2 weeks ago my family and i arrived at MTB and surprisingly we just walk out of it without having to scan our 3 big luggage. Kinda like, green lane for nothing to declare and red for declarable items. I walked right into car rental booths. This is very nice.

Land is scarce, build it on reclaim land. I like the proposal, but sadly it will take like 30 years before it becomes reality.
-
1. Just fix the frigging aerotrain.
2. The lift at the arrival level 3 are too congested. Anoying to find able bodied human hogging the elevators. Man the elevator to make sure only people with serious luggage load and family with strollers get the priority to board.

Did Ramani did this?
Btw, Air Arabia has flown to KUL in the past, so this is actually a reinstatement.
Did not know they flew to KUL in the past. Tech stop somewhere?
And hopefully they can sustain it. Since Etihad reduced their flights to KUL not much choice left for Malaysian living there to go back as Emirates (and Etihad) complex pricing often makes it cheaper to fly from somewhere else rather than their home base (AUH and DXB)

Starting an own airline is clearly a financial suicide by Sarawak Government.
Just because they can, does not mean they have to.
-
In Malaysia context as jani explain, its better to have functioning, no bling airport like KUL as long as it can subsidize other small airports as well.
I dont want CAAM to run airports. Its best to award them to private entity like how MMC being given definite lease of JHB. Im sure there are interested parties who are more than willing to do BOT model for PEN and BKI.
Saves MAHB and Government a lot of trouble

If klia2 fee is awrobridge fee i wonder does air asia charge for aerobridge at changi terminal 4 as well and pass it to the passenger as Terminal 4 fee.
Utter bull

Theres only one reason : BKK has bigger market than KUL. Insignificant taxes argument does not hold water

Malaysia Airlines near collision in London, same aircraft almost flew to Sydney. Shocking!
-
Limited jet operations are definitely welcome. Give same amount of slots to all major carriers for regional flights. Like Seoul Gimpo complementing Incheon

Not bad for a starter. Any update about QR plan to fly to LGK?
Must be interesting as well

I remember that government under Hishamuddin ordered few light attack choppers MD-80 something, but yeah. It never arrives.
-
Well the world does not revolve around airasias bean counter.
Believe it or not delivery flight are mostly paid by manufacturers
Cost to airasia perhaps very minimal.

With current sorry state of ATC service in Malaysia, having FAL in klia will make matter worse. Its 3 runway airport but the way they handle traffics goin in and out, you gotta be wondering what the fcuk are they doing.
Please no excuse like close proximity to SZB.
And dont even mention HKG, they can still learn a lot from CGK.
CAAM must do something. Rather than just name change and increased fees.
Having another airport in Labu which is good for FAL, is too far fetch.
Usually anything that comes out from TF mouth worth nothing especially if its about a new airport just for them to use.
Just another pitch for lower or even fee-free use of KLIA2.

Clueless and wrong priority.
Crew left for other airlines because of better money and benefits.
Yet they think they can still hire crews with the same package thats not competitive.

Its actually worse.
Everything looks promising just because they have money. But anyway, if they wish to jump in the pool to save MAB with their financial might, it will be more than welcome
