just before 1pm, BKI was hit by a sudden strong wind followed by some heavy rains

a pretty interesting scene as 9M-MXD quickly made her take off run seconds before the heavy rains, after rotating, the aircraft experienced a little 'crosswind'

  3. Just saw this on Malindo's FB page...

''Malindo Air would like to assure our guests that safety and comfort of our passengers are our utmost priority at all times.

    Dear Valued Passenger,
Our team of experienced pilots and engineers adhere to the strictest procedures and highest safety standards prior, during and after every single flight we operate, in line with international safety regulations at all times.

With regards to the incident in Bali, it is being investigated by the regulator and airline officials. It will be premature for us to speculate at the moment.

What we can ensure at the moment is, all passengers were safely evacuated and are safe. The aircraft is brand new and the captain had more than 10k hours of flying.

    Thank You''

  4. went to the airport today around 6am to send someone, was surprised to see RBA's 777 V8-BLC parked at bay 2 !(upgraded from 320 I think) but unfortunately I forgot to bring my camera along with me :( ...also spotted the IL76 'sleeping' on the other side of T1
