So, ok no plane spotting but anyway thanks to SQ for choosing KUL as the first revenue service for the XWB (though just for the crew training). The TR vids below is credited to the owner.
-
Wow... SQ's A350XWB in KUL... spotters, noted!
-
Wonder how much they are priced because codeshare with KLM are ridiculously expensive!
-
no spare aircraft eh?
-
How if the "dugongs" fly to SYD or MEL on frequent basis for another solution? Or still capacity restricted?
-
This airline seems more like Eaglexpress... might be just a charter/ACMI airline
-
Yes... no need to expand network till stabilized and furthermore when you got EK as a partner. Just ask QF for testimony.
-
Malindo aircraft seating is quite spacious, very unlike an LCC. Would say their equipment is quite ready to be a full airline.
OD aircraft configuration are the same with its FSC sister airline, Batik Air...

I wonder what was on offer for the affected passengers. I remember during the FAX fiasco there was no refund(?) but you can fly on next flight, which usually means on the next day. Even that flight was 50:50.
Transfered to chartered MAB flight while other option accommodation for pax till fly on next flight

The story of MAB chartered rescue. I suggest the chartering to be continued until RN able to at least lease a much newer aircraft
-
He said the affected passengers were given a choice whether to use ferry and bus services provided by Rayani Air back to Kuala Lumpur or to have their air fares refunded.Should offer tickets to others airlines though not sure the others have vacant seats... a costlier option but it is the price to pay since no one gone to airport to get ferry or bus!

Aiks..from April 2016 to September 2016??
Or it is more like all 15 fleets completed by September 2016?
-
I think CM wouldn't mind about regional catering at all, looking at what were served on AerLingus on Europe routes...
-
But the bitter truth... even GA and VN now have much better connection to Europe than MH... sad moment indeed :'(
-
Guess GA A332 equipments have no problem flying direct to CDG if any of their 77W not available!
-
Definitely a breathe to 747-8i programme
-
Would Batik be to MAB as Asiana to KAL or ANA to JAL?
-
Guess more pax fly BA ex KUL compared to SIN due to 789 factor since the latter still used 77W and 744 metals?
-
Does anyone here used to have international transit with Saudia? What does it like? Find a deal less than RM2.5k to JFK and that's tempting though 8 hrs and more transit via RUH or JED can be ultimately "deserted"....
-
A swap to anything other than the A388 would be a huge downgrade for the passenger experience IMHO. My recent flight on the B789 was a very positive and un-BA experience indeed, and that's a good thing, haha.
Double daily 789 should be ok

Dispose to SATS? So later we could see MH satay on SQ flights?
-
Some of MH's existing code share agreements are coming to an end.
How about with EY?

As 2015:
AK- AirAsia: Airbus A320
CA- Air China: Boeing 757-200
FY- Firefly: ATR 72-500/600
MH- Malaysia Airlines: Boeing 737-400 (quite a long time not flying with MH)
OD- Malindo Air: ATR 72-600
-
Too bad... KU offers one of the best fare to JFK ex-KUL
MAB to Re-Introduce the B747-400; 9M-MPP in Retro Livery
in General Aviation
