That part will be the first to be filled up. EK allows seat selection when booking.I would fly just to be in the upper deck...

Actually not just the apron.. I've heard some pilots saying that 15/33 is like a rodeo arena. You can feel it in the cabin
-
Jokes aside, what should they do to permanently rectify this? Should they do piling throughout the apron? Any construction engineers here?
-
It has been picked up by The Telegraph
-
They knew what they were getting into right from the start. The soil condition was known even before the original KLIA was built.

I think MW standards are quite good. Period.
Me too. Some people just feel the need to look down on others

Yoooooooo...."korean background sound"....how to get to the bus stop??? Link on DMK website?
The bus stop is just outside the arrival hall. You won't miss it. There is a large signboard promoting the bus and there are a few staffs outside. Just ask around for "Mo Chit Bus". It's an A1 numbered bus
-
They now have air cond bus from DMK to Mo Chit BTS Station. 30 bhtTransport option??
-
It is time for them to do something to the landside area of DMK. It is not a place you wanna be during peak travelling hour. Airside quite ok, just add a bit more F&B options

Two travelers that I met in Indonesia back in June, one a French, and another one an Indian commented that they had a rather pleasant experience travelling in Malaysia in terms of communicating with the locals. Almost everybody they met spoke at least basic English or at the very least understood what they were trying to ask. It was in stark contrast to their experience in Indonesia and Thailand. So hey, I guess we are not that bad.
Way OT

Even their HND loads were not that good when I traveled in May this year. At best, 50-60% full.
So did they allow you to transfer your booking to HND?
With the axing of NRT, HND will improve. My HND last year in June was about 90% ish. Majority were Japanese. Before NRT came online.
-
Double daily to Tokyo is just too much for them. It's inevitable that NRT has to go. HND slots are golden

Thought MASwings is still there?
MASWings is always the most expensive on those routes. MAS and AK are usually about the same. Sometimes MAS only slightly more. AK will surely raise theirs after this
-
As if the morale of the crew is not battered enough. If I am one of them I'd just leave straightaway.
-
From Tony Kroos' twitter account. Look at the translation. I guess the joke will stick around for quite a while

Oneworld carrier British Airways has identified the Indian capital Delhi as the first destination for its new Boeing 787-9 fleet.
The aircraft will be introduced on the route from London Heathrow on 25 October.
BA will also begin operating the type to Abu Dhabi and Muscat, as well as Kuala Lumpur, following the aircraft’s deployment on the Indian route.
The carrier will take delivery of the initial Rolls-Royce Trent 1000-powered 787-9 in September.
It is configuring the aircraft in four classes, introducing a first-class cabin on the -9 which will feature eight seats.
There will also be 42 business, 39 premium-economy and 127 economy seats on the type.
This will mean that the -9 will have 216 seats overall, just two more than the airline’s 787-8s, which have a three-class layout without a first-class section.
BA already operates eight of the shorter 787-8s. The airline has ordered a total of 42 787s including 22 787-9s and 12 787-10s.

AirAsia Group, Korean Air and Vietnam Airlines will move to T4, joining Cathay Pacific.

MH021 CDG1150 – 0635+1KUL 772 D

The air force chief has confirmed that it was carrying 101 passengers with 12 crew.
-
Yes. They are bloody expensive. Made no sense since they are supposedly subsidised. AK had SBW BKI in 09. But had to pull out after they made noise. And now the typical return fare for that route is RM400 to RM600 by them.
-
I have a few domestic flights with them this year. Still waiting for the updates on those.
-
Most of the times when I travel AK is the cheapest. Around RM150 return or at most RM200. And I love their 6am from KUL and 11.30pm from SIN. I used to prefer 3K only because of their departure from satellite.
