AA's rates are extremely cheap, but the connection can be quite annoying.
Can't believe in 2015 we still haven't fully adopt inflight WIFI. Its the best IFE, IMO. Had enjoyed it immensely when SQ had offered it many, MANY years ago!

In my years with Krisflyer, I never got any redemption seats, save for one or two one-way upgrades.
But in my current years with Enrich, all my Enrich miles are spent with redemption booking, and easily so. As a matter of fact, will be on one with MH and then on BA in next few days.
So perhaps you can give some examples.

AA started an extension to KUL? Is it a tag based off the DFW-HKG longhaul? Yay - a new option!
Yeap, KUL-HKG-DFW and beyond, all with AA as the MSC.
-
MH does have sub par product, especially when compared with their regional competitors.
7th Feb: KUL->HKG (MH 448)
3rd May: HKG->KUL (CX 791)
The nasi lemak was had just a spicy taste, whereas the ginger chicken on CX was pretty damn good. Apart from that, the service was a world of difference. I felt like the CX crew's performance was at the level of any business class, at least I felt so. The difference was even more obvious when you can compare them side by side like this.
But the worst food on this leg was definitely AA. Appalling service and food through and through. If there's any consolation for MH, they are still better than any American airlines but this is not good enough when you have the likes of SQ and CX.

Awesome, shopping spree sorted then!
-
Does the excess baggage pricing apply to both directions, let's say flying from the UK, will it still be RM90 per 5 kg??
That's an unbelievable pricing, considering SQ is charge USD50 per kg! -
It's like saying MAS now provide life jackets.
-
It's rubbish, totally clueless about everything. Why aren't they waking up ALREADY?
-
Great promotions, maybe to clear off balance Enrich miles before they join OneWorld, perhaps cross-redemption may be too expensive for MH?
-
And why is this even newsworthy?!
-
As long as they cost cheapest, then yes they'll be my first choice.

Actually this 40th anniversary is a sad event.
Those pioneers who attended the party should be sad that what they had built up in the early years was destroyed by one man.
What has MH to show after 40 years? Right now, its commercial viability is questionable. It is sick and bankrupt. It would have been wound up long ago if the government had not been its owner.
Maybe that was the REAL reason why one of the pilots was in tears!

They definitely axed SYD for this aircraft, strange but true lol
-
Try a dummy booking on flights to LHR, they now show all MH1, MH2, MH3, MH4 operated with A380.
-
Double A380 flights to LHR now confirmed.
-
I love company retreats.

Saw the MH A380 at klia for the first time ...... The livery is the weakest design of all the A380s I've seen ..... The design doesn't do justice to aircraft ... In fact it made it look stumpy and small.....the kite on tail looks sad and sorry and disconnected from the rest og the aircraft.....why did MH have to blow ths fantastic chance to change ?
I like SQ , AF and LH, even the China Southern design has more presence !
MH , please change the new logo !!!
Personally, this is the best looking livery yet, it's elegant, simple and really modern, and it befits the aircraft. I only wish that this direction could translate to the whole MH team. Lean & agile, and not cumbersome.
Can't say the same about the interior though.

Someone rewriting history ?!
If he really was in that 727-200, no amount of tears could have spared him the embarassment of piloting the wrong plane
LOL. Everyone loves to write their own history.
But what a load of bull this "celebration" has become.
-
Thanks! It was indeed instantaneous.
2000 miles transferred over the phone, and RM120 ringgit later, I've got my Xmas trip to LHR sorted.
Was a torture though, the Online Redemption kept going offline, then online and then access denied, like seriously.
-
On their FB page, they posted a reply to a question if there will be special fares to "commemorate" this special occasion, so stay tuned. Shouldn't they launch the promotions DURING the launch above? PR fail?
-
Anyone has experience in transferring Enrich miles from one account to another, and know how fast will be effected to the recipient account? At the moment can't even do it online but can only do via call centre, so anyone has any idea? I called them and they say should be 24 hours, OR up til 1 week, like wtf?
-
A bit "syiok sendiri" celebration. 40 years, and I'm not entirely sure if it's an airline we are truly proud of.
-
Crap - did they just update the redemption miles rates?
KUL-LHR was 25500 miles one way, now it's increased to 38500 miles one way?
Edit: Sorry, just that seats are being taken on my selected flights
-
It's showing a maintenance screen now, I guess they are waking up already?
Yesterday the main site was down too.

KUL-LHR-CPH return, Enrich Miles 61050, tax RM700. And Enrich Miles required is higher because can redemption can be done only via phone. Unrewarding? For me it's rewarding, especially you get seats for the dates that you want to travel!
Enrich also has seasonal offers which gives you 20-30% discounts, for instance London is now 20% off .
