I can't wait for that to happen. I'll be ready down here. For the benefit of MW members, I think I should get a waterproof or better acidproof digital camera so as to document our FRU in action for a peaceful Malaysia. I just hope it doesn't mean a long trip to Kamunting!
Remember that the CL 415 is first and foremost a water bomber. If it can double up as anything else, fine but make sure it can be used, and crew trained for fire fighting service whenever required.If that is the case then it will be a good buy.
The acid used will make a hole in the belly long before it can be used on the protesters.
Since most demonstration happen in mid KL (Jalan Tuanku Abd Rahman, KLCC, Kampung Baru), it should be interesting watching these CL 415 flying very very low between buildings over KL.

Five star or not, I'm always looking forward to purchase their meals on board.
For me, most of the cabin crew in both AK and MH are very polite and give good service, especially if you as a passenger are polite to them too and respect that they have a work to do.

On related issue, how is Firefly PEN-KUA doing?
The problem for Kuantan, as well as Ipoh and Malacca is that they near to KL but not too near.

guys..are there any confirmation on how many airbus A400M we will purchase?is it going to replace the C-130s?we do have a weird habit of buying all variants of aircrafts eh?and i cam across this at an airbus website..

Malaysia buying 4 A400M. Initially to complement the C130 but might eventually replace the Hercules.

Why ask MAS?
Our students in Al-Azhar will have no problem flying on Air Asia X for their annual balik kampung. And yes, many of our students in Cairo come from poor rural background.
Personally, I hope Air Asia X will eventually fly to Cairo.

I think they are currently deployed for the Exercise BERSAMA SHIELD with RMAF.
Expecting more traffic at RMAF Butterwoth this month, on 23-25 May 2008 - RAAF's 50th Anniversary of the establishment of a Combat Support Unit at RMAF Base Butterworth.

i believed if RMAF were to have the half marathon in Sg Besi airbase, then it would be roughly around 2km distance....No Victor, I believe the runway is just part of the longer course.

I think this is the nicest photos of all. These people are the unsung heroes of the airport.

I don't know why, but buying food onboard AK is a must for me although I might just had breakfast/lunch at LCCT already.
