  1. Looks like Tony Fernandes is not confident that MAHB can keep to their revised completion date of the permanent LCCT. That was why they had to defer more aircraft deliveries.

Yep,, he like to do that,,, so its not their bad planning... but point fingers to others .... and derive to their decision... :finger:

I really don't know how they do it. They probably have to work harder since they're not backed by the Govt so they'll have to be super efficient unlike the other airline that is backed by the Govt so they can afford to be not so efficient besides some really really good management from TF's team. What do you guys think?

If you really don't know ... its best to keep it that way... and please try not to slander others,, as I said if you don't know its best to keep it that way.

  2. Very nice pix! :)

Are there any seats for couriers or accompanying officials? I note that when FedEx delivered the pandas to China, they had some seats for those accompanying the VIP cargo.

They have six seat, upstairs classified as "Supernumery seats" and few "bunk beds" for crew rest aft of the seats.

Why were the flaps and slats in full deployment mode? Were they conducting some sort of checks?

The picture shows the Engineer (I think that's V Roy)have his hand near the Alternate Flap control, probably he use it. That also the reason the Flap indication goes to Expanded Mode.

  3. I believe I've seen a picture somewhere of the two freighters using the digital MCP. Maybe just like the B734 the MCP is interchangeable and could have been swapped from one aircraft to another. On the B734 fleet we have one MCP with paddle-type autopilot button; it keep on reappearing on different aircraft after maintenance works.

The MCP is a very reliable piece of hardware on the Boeings, normally during a hangar check its not even removed from the glare shield. At least that how it was.

  4. Affnan, does it has a banner on the fuselage? Looks like there is something more then only Firefly titles.

Yes they do advertising now.., that's the Setia Group banner.. and inside of the aircraft is full of setia group stickers too..

    Here another pic.
