    No worry for the security at these 2 small airports.

    There is just industrial "waste" only no need to secure tight.

    Our visit had been confirmed guards open the gate when our bus is arriving.

    Joined UK agent Gorge Pick Aerotour this time ex Moscow 5days.

    They organize Moscow trip every summer since 2000 I think.

    But in my opinion it is not so good deal for high class aviation photogrpahers like me.

    Most of all photographers are joining tour ex LON or MAN = UK = read and write rego is main purpose.

    Their quality for photography and motivation(especially for the angle) does not match with my standard.

    Also the tour is very expensive nowadays I paid 990GBP+c/c fees for just 4 full days spotting.

    And agent's support and reply is super slow.

    I am considering to join other tour or organize tour by ourselves next time.

    Also nowadyas Moscow outside self-spotting looks ok let me try near future.

    "Mo shi mo" means " in case of emergency.

    so whole meaning of the sentence is "Dial 118 in case of emergency over the sea"

    Yes, Cessna logo is same as Fuji-TV an associated company.

  6. As I was planning some spotting with LeeCH regarding his visit to NRT on last Sunday...

    Suddenly got SMS from TK on Thursday late afternoon about his called up for NRT on the same day.

    Then we organized HND spotting all togather luckily we had JCAB and JCG openday on Sunday. B)

     

    Full line up for JCAB-Flight Inspection. Gulf4, Saab2000, YS-11.

  7. Sorry for suspension of Russian topic again while I was busy for Tuploev spotting in Japang.

     

    Niigata (RJSN/KIJ) the best airport to shoot Tupolev in Japang.

    Spent crazy trip to KIJ two times total 6 spotting days.

    Total driving mileage 1700km fuel burn 140L (149JPY per Liter now) cilaka... lot of $$$ for Tupolov.

     

    Unfortunately 1st try S7 Tupolev delayed 4hrs...night photography...

    Lucky I am always carrying tripod for Russian spotting. Be careful for unexpecting delay.

    After arriving Moscow picked up charterd cheap Hyundai bus (not KIA :p ) to Myachkovo.

  11. Day2: 21JUL We had one day return trip to Nizhny Novgorod (GOJ/UWGG).

     

    Flying Tatarstan Tu-134 from Domodedovo(DME) to N.Novgorod(GOJ).

    My first ride for Russian planes. B) Nice nose... navigator window still can be seen.

    45m width and TORA is 2600m but no worry Tu-134 is powerful boy.

    MH is slightly flatter...

    Yes I think so too that the reason why I had better sleep onbaord TK's MH71 last time at least 3hrs.

    Pitch...no big difference unsure for seat width.

    Bring a measure to check actual pitch and width next time.

    Not only for food disappointed TG's new AVOD system too.

    No update music onboard since last year... Flew 346 5 times since Sep/05 but always same music program...

     

    I believe TG is fresh for MW guys. Compare with usual MH please!

    to MOCKBA(Moscow).... which airline did I choose?

    I had good sleep onboard Royal Silk Class 8hrs 50mins flight to Domodedovo.

    Perhaps this route will be replace to 772ER soon :(

  14. Looking back on my Kansai trip with TK, I have to say I really look forward to spotting in Japanese stations more now. A check on the roster inidicates Narita in September. Better start digging YK's contact.....hehe

    JAL domestic 773 is not ER.

    FUK deck is not so good you might go out side spotting next time.

    Very easy spotting anywhere around both 16 and 34 in use.

  15. i got a question....why do they send 2 jumbos for two people..as far as i know the americans do that....are the japanese doing it for security reasons too?

     

    20-1101/"Japanese Airforce 002" is stand by backup airplane :p

    For returning journey normally going back to home JASDF Chitose AB directly iso Haneda.

     

    I think there is about 200pax onboard for JAF001 not only for 2.

     

     


  16. 7 hrs driving for just one aircraft? Wow, that's a real hard core spotter. Good for you! :lol:

    As for the ladders, here in Singapore (and probably Malaysia too) you will land up in the police station for sure. :p

    Yes I am!! spent each 7 hrs and spent about 250SGD for gas and toll B)

    In Japan the situation is same can put ladders at local airport only.

    HND careful for security and OKO-Yokota most dangerous airport in Japan must avoid both MP and local police.

    Anyway I am pro for hit and away style spotting at these airport + the paradise HKT. B)


  17. Yukihiro-san, Komaki airport should be much more quiet nowadays since the new Chubu airport has opened?

    Eric, Yes VERY quiet nowadays. Can see only J-AIR(under JAL flight number) CRJs...

    But on weekdays you might see lot of JASDF C-130 + few scheduled C-1 flight. :p

    Also test flights from Mitsubishi factory is interest for military spotters.

    Saturday, Sunday so terrible only CRJ + few C172...

  18. 7hrs driving to NKM Nagoya-Komaki to shoot strange L-1011 :p

    Charterd by Government for Iraqi mission just replace of previous operator Thai Sky now.

    First they choose Orient Thai then Phuket Air and Thai Sky...Now Star Jet.

    Always using mysterious Airline...

     

    Leaving NKM for JHB as ferry flight Sierra Juliet Bravo 2004 before lunch time :p

    This is an excellent pic. Could you tell me the ISO and Aperture setting for this pic?

     

    Also, could you tell me the location at HND where you took this pic? Location F as per this diagram?

    The camera setting was ISO100 f6.3 2.5sec with tripod.

    Also I shot some slides for awesome SP but must use some gelatine filter due to mix lights.

     

    Shooting spot for Victor1 is not location F on your map.

    This SP spot is located next to Tokyu Hotel.

    Exit to right and walk straight ahead from T2 "departure lobby".

    For V1 photography B747SP/IL96/A342 or smaller possible to shoot from there.

    Now UY763 is parked it is also possible to shoot but I don't need her. :p

    Also some time spot #51(right side) 6J/SNA traffic blocked viewing.

    You have to check 6J flight info at terminal.

     

    F is taxi way J2/3 good for 34R departure and 16L arrival in the morning for T1 traffic.

    You have to use high ladder (1.8m tall is fine) and pay attention for security. :p

    I think TK knows this spot. s#1t high double fence there hehehe. :angry:
