  1. How was Korea, Sneeze ? Nice spotting there ?

Still missing your trip-reports on Asiana: looking forward to this, as would like to know how OZ service is :pardon:

My trip there was nice, at least I learned the basic skill for skiing.

Spotting there was fun, but I felt crazy myself.....why? Cause under the guide with 3 Seoul based spotters, we were spotting under -5'c temperature with 10+ kts winds. With my poor skill additional with the cold weather I have never had. So, my hands were shaking heavily, in a result, I have got most of the take off/ landing shots failed.

You know, it is always true that "no pain no gain", with the "pain" of cold weather, I gained with AN12, IL96, TU (forgotten) from Russia. Last but not least, don't know who's luck (my korean guides/ me?) brought the approach of 9V-SRE, B-27013(Taiwan F.A.T red Adv. painted), A6-ECE(Delivery on 21/Dec/2007), two aircrafts with go-around.........

The service of OZ is not bad, I travelled there by B74E - HL7417 and back by A333 - HL7740. Flight crews and cabin crews were nice, but sadly that, I am not allowed to have the cockpit visit. Cabin crews served me were nice, but not as pretty as SQ's girls. I was feeling weird to one of the cabin crew during my flight back in HKG. The story is that, once the seat belt sign was off after take off, I tried to get the best time to have some cabin shots at the rear of the cabin. Too bad that, I was blocking her way to serve PAX, I noticed late and once I aware, I gave her the way and put my 40D down and lens facing up. Sigh, she though I was going to shot under her uniform. She looked at me/ my 40D and then keep walk along to serve. Steps later, she looked back and checked if I was following her. I felt so embarrassing. Really don't know why Korean girls are with such reaction. Do they facing too high sexual embarrassment?

Unable to upload photos at the moment, so I would share some photos that have just accpeted by A.net with you guys before I post out some cabin shots.

  2. im sure if they plan for a LCCT, space is still available by reclaimation of sea...but of course that will cost a lot but by return is definitely rewarding...

Kenneth, sea is nearby, but land is not easy to reclaim, why? Cause the protected dolphins are living in the nearby water. You know? HKIA is planning for the feasibility of the 3rd RWY, but the problem now facing is 1) the mountain nearby; 2) the effect to the dolphins if land reclaim; 3) air space nearby is controlled by China.

Will AK shift their MFM flights to HKG, or are these additional ?

Uncle Pieter, MFM is now a golden egg in the region, MH flies to MFM just this week. CA also started the service from PEK also in this week. More flights could be seen in that tiny city - CASINO all the way.

    Sneeze,

Hope to see you again for the 3rd MW Anniversary !!! :pardon:

Now everyone (= even Sneeze) can fly !!! :yahoo:

If I come over KUL in CNY and Easter the coming year, 3rd Anniversary may not likely to join.

    $$$$

Lovely new scheme, but it is also a sad moment to me, as......I was chance to on board, however, no money for a trip during my college age.....and now all UO fleet is B738NG.

Maybe I have to visit you in the isolated city. (Visit my "mother university" in PER, by the way)

  5. Sneeze, all of them are really great pictures.thanks for your effort for us :) New Chinese airlines liveries are looks brillant. I read a article on AirlinerWorld few moths ago and I thought Deer Airlines has been found as executive airlines with business jets.Did I read wrong or Deer Airlines begin schedule flights?

another one; Hainan and Xinhua seems came from Germany :) they looks with German serious color and type :) joking ofcourse.

how is going your job? send a PM to me.

For the Deer Airlines, I am not really sure with them, you know.....the fast growing of chinese aviation market is really needing time to understand. May I try to get you the correct info. a bit later?

Hainan, Xinhua, Cheng An......all are under HNA, an aviation group based in Hainan, China.

My work? Going smooth at the moment, but not know once the peak season come, I don't know how busy that will be.

  6. By request and my promise, here is one of the B737NGs I have got in the spotting day at CAN.

Small aircrafts are now very wellcomed by Chinese carriers. You can find this out from most of those brand new private own airlines.

  7. Excellent shots, Sneeze :drinks:

Definitely should visit PR of China soon: very interesting place for airline-spotting :pardon:

No problems with the authorities with aircraft-photography (being non-Chinese looking) ?

    Thanks Uncle Pieter.

I am not sure if there will have problem with you as you are a non-Chinese looking.

But, the CAN friend told me that, PVG is now very strict to spotting, just because a stupid taxi driver think that foreigner was taking photos for terror attack.

    Crazy?

So, I asked my friend that day as well.......He said:Foreigner? May be a problem, but really not sure. :pardon:
