I'm pretty sure those MH 787s will have 9 abreast. They're trying to make money, remember... I hate the D7 9 abreast on the 333s, the 787s will be even tighter.

I can definitely see the B787-9 flying to AKL and it is also the right aircraft to return to Europe if the A350-900 is considered too big. With Brexit looming, ìt makes sense to me to fly to another European destination other than London.

I think that using the A350 to SYD and MEL could work well for passengers who want to fly in F all the way to LHR.

They really need to return to BNE. The double daily PER flights will be with the 738 only but it makes commercial sense to use them, especially when competition is so high. Having flatbeds on their 737-MAX10 will make them competitive but not with the recliner business seats and the very tight pitch in economy on the current 738s.

Don't get me wrong. I think it's great that MH are kern on having flatbeds un business in the 737-MAX10. I can see it flying to Perth, India and China (especially on overnight or late night flights)

Seriously though, direct aisle access for flatbeds on a 737 that won't be flying more than 6 hours is a little over the top.

I will be saying goodbye to the Enrich programme completely after this latest round of devaluations. It was significantly devalued only about 3 years ago and to have another major one so soon is just not acceptable.

Never under-estimate people's resolve. I've avoided United for 7 years already and I fly a lot. I hold grudges for a very long time. I don't care how cheap their fares are.

I've always disliked UA and haven't flown with them for 7 years now because of poor customer service and rude cabin crew (even in International First Class!). It was my experience flying on UA in F between SYD and SFO 7 years ago that helped me to decide never to fly with them again. I wasn't treated badly but I saw how the flight attendants treated some of the other F passengers and it was just unbelievable!

I would have voluntarily de-planed with an offer of USD800 and a free night's accommodation!
Anyway, that was apparently the most offered to get off that flight. Read somewhere that UA could have offered up to USD1300 but they were too cheap to do so. I'm sure some passengers would have taken that offer. They did get a few people off initially with the offer of USD400.

Those electronic windows on the 787 are the worst. They don't block out the sun completely. Did someone forget that there is no cloud cover for the sun when you're above the clouds?!

I'll take the A330 over the 787. Been on the 787 twice already and I really don't like it at all.
