  1. Hi Subang spotters! Anyone chance someone could catch the "? 7750" flight currently enroute from Miri? to Subang please? Just heard it on HF working Singapore, reporting OLKIT TERIX TODAM across the S China Sea at FL240. Couldn't make out the callsign at all apart from the numbers. Should be landing Subang 1030-1130 ish, maybe later if it's a slower prop acft.

    :help:

    Thanks all. Fingers crossed!

I think it may have been "Mas Wing 7750" if that means anything?? Did anyone see it please? :(

  3. Hi Sam, thanks!

I spoke to a HKG spotter who runs an SBS there and he said it would be a JS41 as well. He tells me B-HRT was flying locally at low levels at the time I heard it on HF but B-HRS was picked up a couple of hours before heading SE and climbing to FL110 so looks like B-HRS was the one! It was picked up on HKG SBS again at 1142utc so it didn't stay on the ground very long..

If anyone DID see it please let me know as confirmation would be much appreciated. :good:

  4. Hi all,

Does anyone know what "Hong Kong Government 2" was on 16 Nov please? I picked him up working Manila on HF between 0308-0524 UTC. Manila advised at position "MINNI"? to contact Kota Kinabula on VHF 126.1. Flight was at FL230 so that is prop territory. Never heard this callsign before and seemed to be heading to BKI so I thought I'd ask here.

    :help:

    Thanks.

  5. Thanks for the update Tamizi.

Rob, as per what Tamizi has said, all aircraft belong to Tri-MG. But 9M-NEP is the only aircraft based in Malaysia for Neptune's Operations. Any idea if that was a schedule flight or a one of charter? Any idea if they have a routine schedule?

No idea mate. Was hoping one of you locals knew as I'm in the UK. I heard it on HF and he gave departure and destination points, which is unusual to hear.

  6. Hello all,

I was just wondering if anyone in the SIN area has a Kinetic SBS-1 or Airnav Radarbox? I know there is one based near KUL somewhere which is hooked up to the libhomeradar site, but it doesn't pick up any of the SIN traffic and one is desperately needed in this area. :help:

I listen to the HF traffic over the S China Sea and could really use some logs to find out the REG's ;) .

Airphil Express flight 2P-800 on the evening of 30 October 2010 was operated by RP-C3227 ... definitely not a mistake as I was on this flight. I flew to Manila on the inaugural flight 2P-801 on 27 October and this was operated by RP-C8388.

During the three days I was in Manila, I have only seen RP-C3227, RP-C8388 and RP-C8389. There are several Dash 8 (both -300s and Q400s) including RP-C3018 with Philippine Airlines tail logo and Airphil Express titles (plus small "Operated by Air Philippines" sticker on the fuselage).

Thanks to information from Kane Yoshi, I was able to proceed directly to Multi-national Avenue to photograph planes landing on runway 06.

    KC Sim

KC Sim, a belated thanks for this info that I requested. I did check back once but there were no replies at the time. Thanks a lot! :drinks:

  7. Is this airport otherwise known as Johor Bahru?? If so, would anyone happen to know the REG of the Neptune Air flight which arrived from Ho Chi Minh around 2330 local last Thursday night? Flight number was NEP536.

I'd really appreciate it if anyone can find out! :help: Thanks.

  8. Hi all,

Can any of you guys tell me what the REG was for GAP800 (AirPhil Express) A320 that arrived in the evening on 30th please? I show the airline as only having 3x A320s in service at the moment and it wasn't the new one RP-C8388. What is the status of the 2x ex Philippine Airlines A320s RP-C3227/8 that are supposed to be in service with AirPhil? My research shows they haven't flown on those REGs since May so are they parked or have they been re-registered with AirPhil? Any sightings?

    Thanks.

  9. I think you guys need to calm down! I have not said anywhere that there will definitely be a new livery. The only thing that could be seen from the angle it was at was the new titles. Given the fact that no fresh info has come out of my sources since (which is virtually unheard of for brand new livery changes) then I tend to side with Radzi that it's looking like just being a minor change. Time will tell though. :)

  10. Hi all,

Kianhong, excellent catch with that Indo AF B732. Not seen a pic of one of those moving for a long time. Nice to see some (at least) are still active!

On a different note, did any of you guys see the China Eastern on Monday 20th? I am looking for the REG number for it. It was the NKG-SIN-NKG flight I am wanting, CES771/2 and an A319 according to flightstats. I would really appreciate it.

Thanks and keep the excellent pics coming! :good:

    Rgds.

  11. Can anyone tell me if the Beech 350s use fixed callsigns please? I often hear Police 12A/12B/12C on the air and naturally assume that they would be 9M-PTA/B/C respectively - is this always the case or do they ever use a non-matching callsign like Police 12C for 9M-PTA for example?

    Thanks :)
