  1.

KLIA toilets are good enough as it is.

Ermm... No. KLIA toilets are pushing 18 years of age in some locations... The refurbished toilets at departure level concourse of MTB are tacky and lacked integration with the rest of the terminal... If there is one thing I admire at Changi - it's the rate of restroom refurbishment and standard of maintenance.. These simple lessons and tasks go a long way to improving the overall passenger experience.

  2. Prices are low compared to SQ, but seeing some video reviews online and comparing.. U do realise also that the standard of product and service is quite different.. E.g single meal linen tray service versus table service and course by course on SQ.. Complete lie flat on SQ, albeit diagonal coupled with direct aisle access for all long haul types.. This EK is comparable to the regional J class product found on B773/B772 and A333 at SQ.. Nothing really special IMO.. Only the price 😊

  3. MEL remote parking.. Other remote stands along taxiway A and T are heavily occupied also.. The international terminal is heavily occupied in the morning, most aircraft on extended layovers are towed to remote bays. For SQ, this is SQ227 (B77W/A388).. All other SQ flights apart from SQ217 turnaround within 1.5hrs.. So remain at the gate.. But we cannot plan to arrive too early, else have to wait for an available gate..

Just to emphasise, pax do not deplane remotely.. The aircraft is towed away from the terminal once all servicing is complete post-flight and is later towed back to a terminal stand pre-flight

  4. Point-to-point traffic, London is the best bet. Student/family traffic is the aim.. AirAsiaX targets the masses whom wouldn't ordinarily consider making a trip, but if the fare is right they will go in a heart-beat!

It is not uncommon for people to regularly peruse the AirAsia site for deals on a day-to-day basis.. This form of cherry picking is absolutely one marketing ace budget carriers pull. You only often visit a legacy carrier page if you are certain of ur travel plans or if on a competitive basis with a carrier like AirAsia.

  5. And we continue with the brainless postings...

    "Yeahhh

    it is full with complaints

but.........demographically (ehemmmmm...not to point fingers to anyone), the tendency of complaining happened to be skewed to one ethnic / race."

Well done, Affendi - for your genuinely stupid opinion.. If people are upset at whatever - In today's context it is part and parcel for them to post their opinions (no matter how educated/uneducated) on social media - just as you have done with your post! Gold star, buddy!

  6. To be honest, mulling fleet expansion now is good - indicates that early stage targets have/or are being met and more concrete forward planning can occur.

Perhaps even an MoU for B737MAX might be in the offing, given that the region and such a fleet are at the forefront of the BOP.

  7. The Wau encircled on the original 1972 MH logo was IMO a most intriguing and symbolic image - that of "controlled flight".

This should come back in some way or form and could be extended in meaning to be representative of a more guided MAS having ought to have learnt from the mistakes of the past. A colour long associated with MAS but ever exploited in marketing is the aqua-green/blue of the uniforms as well as the trademark gold. Although it would appear as "plagiarised", using gold for the Wau would certainly be befitting.

Perhaps a more traditional Wau from the current stylised "jellyfish" and with a gradient batik motif (similar to that on the uniform) combined with the "freedom of space" lines on the fuselage, with just the words "Malaysia" once more. The flag should continue to appear above the windows and aft of the title lettering.. or perhaps in front of the registration, similar to Qantas.

  8. We are surprised too. Not least to say the selection of the B772 ahead of the A333. Alas, hope to fly these sectors soon after the September commencement. Crew rotations will be interesting to say the least.. Predicting Augmented crewing with night stops in WLG, iso CBR.

    5:10 aircraft layover in WLG..
