    They are strict for a reason and most of it for border control.

     

    How would you prefer the corrupted Malaysian custom officers that can be tipped off for importing any dangerous goods into the country or charge you with some "tax" that goes into their pocket but looked very relaxed at their job? :D

     

    U might want to reconsider doing that now bro, because they have a reward system now(something like twice the price of the bribe,when he caught the offender), and giving bribe is also corrupted.

    Oh by the way, corrupted officers nowdays are a rare species to find. I had a few arguments with them in LGK.

     

    That's for small fish like us...BIG FISH...lain cerita :p

    I heard of the story first hand and it was teen porn and since it was under the legal age of 18 it was considered as child porn. He was wrong in doing it but I must say that most of our youths indulge themselves in the occasional porn. It was a mistake on his behalf to keep porn but it was just for personal use and not for sale or commercial use. My sympathy goes to him as he goes through this difficult time.

    Do you know that as fact or are you speculating base on the article? I spoke to the operating crew on that flight and it was definitely not kiddy porn. Even the government didn't see it as a major crime as he was slapped with a fine and is being released for duty the next day. MAS wasn't the only airline that had their crew remanded, as they also caught pilots of other major airlines too on that day.

    MH Mesti Hidup laa bro.. AA is LCC... Fresh market(S.E Asia), so whoever start first sure meletop like DELL,GOOGLE or Microsoft on the net.

    Now its about maintaining its reputation,and generate fresh approaches to the consumer.. or else sure will lose to Other LCC players..

    Takde laa... the child porn is not really a 'child' porn.

    It must be the three 3gp files that bears a 14 yrs old.

    And that file is among those local 3gp files...

    btw, this is a lesson for us to be careful when we bring our laptops or/and pda, smartphones, hard disks, into another strict country

    who knows when yours will be checked..

     

    Thanks Alan for sharing...now i must cleanse my 3gp files.

     

    p/s who has been to Thai? thats the mother of childp***.they come to you and offer service. Best thing to do, give 10baht n shoosh 'em away.

    Old, obsolete it's all true.. compare old Honda city with New honda city...

    New ones will give u LESS delays and problems..

     

    Delays = old equiptment, compare 737 to 320...see it?

    aha,perhaps ground-handling needs more monitoring, i neveR EVER trust ground handling of my luggage. *watch how they handle your bag, ish Geram!

    If i were somebody in the airlines maybe i'll make a guideline on how to handle luggage in front of the pax.he he

    hajj changes people, a Haji tittle changes people...

    i send off a few people to hajj before and they return refreshed... like newborns(if i can say that)

    and always looking forward for another trip.but after some time, some of them forgets about the hajj :D

    but a refresher like umrah or another haji will reminds them of the 'moment' between god and man'

     

    hmm i did read something like 'experience' in the holy land...especially in Mastika...but confirmed by

    somebody, who saw it in real life, and i knew that person would never made up stories ;)

    imho... Flight sim can help you fly but doesnt guarantee you competency until u flew practically. Being able to use FS and fly, i think FS becomes better after you fly on a plane. Landing part is one of the most critical phase of flying, cruising to an airport is considered less difficult but it is not that easy either, all depends on the type of a/c you are in. Small planes are the easy ones, but a jet like a 737, is not that easy. A lot of consideration must be made especially if the runway is just 6000'(KT runway 6601') short. i think you cant stop if you land at 1500' marker.

     

    A competent FS(flight simmer), may have no experience on how to handle switches and buttons on the MCP,and if its an emergency,trial and error might be a bad idea. Then the flaps handle,gears handle and the throttle... Able to help, yes.. but solely, difficult :) unless under supervision from somebody on the ground who can give specific instructions.

     

    However if both pilots are unable to fly, a flight simmer is better then nothing.Just my 2 cents..hehe

     

     

    Real pilots who cant fly the sim... hmm sim x shiok kut, not as real as it gets ;p
