  1. Stunning!!

Ryanair does not fly to ZRH, but I think Air Berlin has one of those liveries. Gotta catch me one of those!

Thanks for your positive comments guys! I knew it was a good idea to share it here :D

Azman, yes Air Berlin is flying a B737-700 (+winglets) in this same livery (with Air Berlin on the tail ofcourse :p ). D-ABBN is the one you should look out for!

    Goodluck,

    Eric

  2. From what I've heard, the pushback driver was speeding with his vehicle. The too high speed while in a turn, made the pushback vehicle make a 180 degrees turn underneath the B747's fuselage.

The accident causes big problems in KL's flight operations.

It seems, EWR flights are now shifted from A330 to NWA DC-10 service

JFK gets B767 and A332 on the evening departure ex AMS

Toronto will shift to a B772

  3. eric,

hehehe thanks for those awesome green buses!! a330 wingflex is always awesome!!

yeah, i did notice the new green fence last time i came back from the airport. didn't seem to ruin your photos at all though. i wonder if they choosed a green fence colour, so that it matches EI's green livery.....

btw, did u guys catch ryanair's new 738 with winglets?

    cheers!

I really love the A330-200 myself, it is having the perfect shape!

The green fence is not good at all, unless the spotting hills become a little higher... The fence is visible in almost all pictures when not edited in Photoshop or other software. You've to crop the aircraft out in a new frame to get rid of this fence. Spotting conditions are a lot more worse then 6 months ago

Nope, no Ryanair winglets for us this time... Was really excited to catch one or a few, but the only special Ryanair was the 'Dreamliner' for us.

    Hi Ashraf!

  5. wuhuuuuuu eric.......thanx for the nose of 'st maeve'. was it 'romeo delta' or 'romeo oscar'. if its the former, sounds ironic isnt it? seems perfect brightness at that spot for nose shots. good timing bro! captain is blatantly clear even with lower resolution. cheers eric and hope u enjoyed that 'shuttle' trip. and every minute counts!

"St Maeve" is actually A330-300 EI-ORD. Aer Lingus registered their A330's to airport codes (like -JFK, -ORD, -LAX, -CRK)

Higher resolution of St Maeve for Azahan... ;)

For sure you don't see these planes ofter in SE-Asia. We sure liked the day overhere at DUB!

  6. Hi there!

I'm just back from a daytrip to the Republic of Ireland, done together with Pieter <_< !

We flew on Aer Lingus A320-200 aircraft (AMS-DUB on EI-DEJ, DUB-AMS on EI-DEC) in Y-class.

The weather was awful sunny, we didn't expect that much sun in Ireland (famous for the many rainshowers!!) :o So we don't complain at all!

I'm uploading here some impression of our tour with some pictures/text. As Pieter is off to Dubai from tomorrow, he will not have the time to do this now ;)

    Hope you like them,

  7. Hi Pieter

I saw you made a same trip as I did earlier this year, although Air France bumped me into one of their A319's tongue.gif I'll bet their is not much difference to the A318, is there?

Also the sandwich Varig is providing on the flight to AMS is a good choice in my opinion. For the short flight, this 'catering' is better then AF and KL offer in Y-class!

My flight was on PP-VQK that time, and seatplan was exactly the same as on yours.

Nice pictures too! Did you go out of the terminal for spotting or did you just transfer from T2 to T1 to catch your return flight?

Anyway, you were lucky that RG didn't cancel your return flight laugh.gif They do that all the time...

    Thanks

    Eric

  8. What camera are you using Eric ?

    19209[/snapback]

    Hi David,

I'm shooting my pics with my EOS 20D, and 28-300 lenses. In most circumstances a perfect combination for me.

    Walter,... no it's Eric Meijer

You may follow the links in my sign to see some of my pictures.

    Thanks for your comments guys,

  9. Hi Pieter!

It was a beautiful day there wasn't it?! Really enjoyed going there with you to explore both Air Berlin and Tegel Airport! Nice pictures by the way. I was really convinced with and the C-32, and the B727, and the Czech Republic YAK-40 !
