  1. Seriously for accepting a job as FA, she must accept anything come as fate. Using words as crash and explode is totally a no-no while working. If you were fate to die, it's unavoidable, if you are not or had survived then lucky you. Buy a life insurance at least you have something to give back to the family as responsibility from a child to parents.

If I were in her shoe, I would understand the risk of the job at the moment I had accepted and signed the contract. I know I would be nervous about the turbulence but I would be calm enough to expect bad things to come.

  2. Airasia's website keeps a list of all their routes currently served by the A320s, I think they're pretty up to date. At the moment these new baby buses are flying daily to BKI (4x), KCH (3x), PEN (3x), LGW (1x), MYY(1x), SDK(1x) and SUB (1x).... but no Kota Bharu so far...Worth checking before booking the flight , they must a lot more pleasant than the old 737s :)

I wonder where is the list placed at the website coz I didn't see it anywhere.

  3. cruising time depends how high he flies.

Let say KUL-SIN at 5000 feet....more cruising time. But cannot do like that la...

This is the trick...and it is a question to all...not to You Radzi and LeeCH (sorry, you know the answer)

example a pilots flies at 23,000 feet.

How many miles do you think that he/she (the pilot) would have to start their descend....??

Now I know after done some googling,

Beginning Descent=Altitute in feet * 3 and ignore the zeros at the back.

    23,000 feet=23 * 3
    Start Descend=69 Miles#

The speed you fly also determinds your cruising time and descend distant. Therefore if you flying at 120kts you'll get long time to cruise to SIN and descend pretty late. Above 3/4 of tambak Johor and you still crusing :p  There's nose down degree and Airport beyond DME to count somemore so not all Ah Pek get to fly A380 from KUL to SIN by set here, set there and then crosslegs and sit back and relax. :p

  4. Excellent idea, Adrian, but excuse me for not publishing the AMS timetable: it's just too much/too many flights, besides, on 26MAR06 the Summer schedules, with a lot of changes will become effective ;)

 I guess so provided AMS is one of gate enterence to EU.

  5. This is a convenient flight frequency table, so that spotters know which day or particular flight they wanna spot without the fuss of checking the airline online flight schedules and pocket timetable booklet.

Everyone can contribute to this thread on their local airport flight tables. If you are outside of Malaysia (eg: Perth), you can also provide the airport that you currently reside (eg: Perth). Be sure to bold and underline the airport up so it could attract attention. Give as much info as possible and anyone who has extra information can give update(s). :)

For that I provide BKI table and this only what I know for now and please do assist me to provide some of the ones I didn't listed or I don't even know. :p

*I purposely didn't list 734, F50 flights for MH and 733 for AK coz I find it quite easy to spot. Listed ones are coverage and spot-worth ones. IMO.

*I'll update soon with more inorder version.

  6. Adrian,

Last time AAsia ran off at BKI is bad enough, can imagine if ran off at the end...

Yup...Both ends is deadly. Rwy 20 risk on horses, properties, buildings, civilians and Rwy 02 wreak aircraft, sea and pax life risk and also engineering hanger. BKI is no room for error or it's gonna be big. I guess newbies fly in and out of BKI gonna learn few big lessons and face the challenge that will definately sharpens their flying skills.

  7. Adrian,

It was amazing coz AK 5109 was delayed to 1800hours and my flight (AK5113) was scheduled at 1810hours; ten minutes apart. However, AK 5109 (B737) had some technical glitch and left after us, but unsure how long after. I saw the BI A319 land from Terminal 2 and it was nice to see something different from the AK and MH flights usually seen there. I was also impressed with the traffic in BKI; amazing!!!!!!

The AK733 left around 1820-1840. And I got it on video LOL. It was quite a rush-rush take-off. Taxi....Turn...Before exact center line up...whine full throttle! Kandiah, you should come to BKI and go spotting :p The wooden fence is wide gapped and enough to stick your DSLR through. :p My point and shoot is slim enough to just put it through.

  8. I just returned from a flight to BKI and back. Both sectors were on an A320, to my surprise !!!!!

    It was awesome !!!!!

I left KUL to BKI on 24/2 on AFD and returned today on AFC (Manchester United).

    What a pleasant surprise.

Plane is ordinary like any other but looked more high tech than AK's other aircrafts.

    :p

Kandiah, Guess I almost snap you and Red Devil just now LOL. I just 2 minutes too late. :p Almost catch RBA A319 also but too late too. It rolling off right after you.

  9. I like the blue-white-blue stripes over at the propeller ^^. Very vibrant all I can say. A great beauty. Hv u seen some pics of Netherlands Air Force flying a F27 with one engine running and doing 360 degrees roll?

Netherlanders really know how to operate their own planes where nobody can. :p

  10. just a gimmic to sell the story... if it sounds minor case...people will be like"ceh...only that." and people forget it after 3 days. If they write with the word "skidded", people will be like..."wah...that's big man....all the gears are broke and the whole plane slip on the grass as far as 500 meters." All the gossip and things happened.

Aviation Paparazzi vs Regular Reporter. Big difference
