Hey guys. Family's planning to visit sister in Bristol next year. And i'm kind of entrusted with the booking and hotel details. So i want to ask the sifu-sifu sekalian here - who(other than Airasia X) has the best price to go to LHR? And is it a better option to transit to go to LHR or direct? Also i heard to go to Paris is better to take the TGV? And while i'm talking about Paris, anybody can recommend me a good hotel or apartment in paris? Sister found one, but i want to see what are my options?

thanks all. Unfortunately i will not be turned to any sides ahahha. the most i will do is maybe go for the canon SX1. *drools* IMHO DSLR is a bit of a fuss, at least for me. To carry a good kit, its like carrying, well, me around haha. Dont worry though, i have used both the light and the dark side, and even some sonys, so i am not a total dslr-ignorant. Other than the SX1, the panasonic G1 is MIGHTILY tempting for me....

Hi. First time posting here. Always has been fascinated with planes taking off, seeing those huge hunk of metal gracefully lifting into the air. Unlike alot of the forumers here, i an only armed with a superzoom camera, so i cant get those nose-bleeding shots. But i did captured some pretty approach pictures of planes to runway 32L. Also, the same day i took the pictures, i noticed that 32R was also used for landings. is this usual? some of the pics i took with a borrowed camera. getting my own soon.
