    Wow,looks like the Korean expats at BKI are returning home for Seollal festival on Feb 14th! (aka Lunar New Year)

     

    Who knows if they're sending in the 'Mona Lisa' (HL7402) or the 'British Museum' (HL7488) :rolleyes:

    what about 'Hermitage Museum' in St. Peterburg ???? :p

     

    I read this from www.koreanair.com

     

    In celebration of the sponsorship a Korean Air B747-400 aircraft has been ‘wrapped’ with images of artworks from the British Museum. This aircraft will make its inaugural flight from Incheon into London on 1 December 2009 and will then be used on routes to Europe and the Americas. *

     

    so, BKI spotter no hope to see this aircraft. :(

    That is one heck of an increase in capacity over a half month period ! :yahoo:

    Any particular reason you can put a finger on ?

    Do the Koreans do a CNY exodus like the Chinese ?

    Come to think of it, do Koreans even observe the lunar new year ?! :)

     

    Interesting to see if Asiana also put on extra capacity

     

    MH - well maybe if response is good this year, next year think about it lah ! :p

     

    Korean celebrate the same New Year as the Chinese and Winter Festival too.

    They celebrate the lunar calender birthday instead of the international calender.

    Hope you mean the BKI-SEL route, Yoong, as we definitely booked KE ex AMS to fly the 332 and 772/773 as our connecting flights to/from SGN...

     

    BTW, there are 2 KE TR's on A.net of an AMS-MAD-AMS flight, by 2 different A.nutters; check it out, and you'll be able to see the KE-service... :pardon:

     

     

    Yes, SEL-BKI-SEL on 747 for 13 / 14/ 16/ 17/ 20/ 21/ 23/ 24/ 27 & 28FEB.

    Yup, sharp eyes you got there SV, some of the photos on top are from Gimpo Intl, somehow those photos seems to rearrange themselves when I upload, so it mess up with the timeline.

     

    My flight were from

    BKI >A330-200> Incheon >Bus> Gimpo >A300-600> Jeju >A300-600> Gimpo >Bus> Incheon >A330-200> BKI

     

    Flight from KKIA to Incheon was KE674, around 12am on 20/12/2009

    while the returning flight was KE673, around 6pm (+9 GMT)on 26/12/2009

     

    I guess this is Popular Express group....right? Good choice. :drinks:

    Dear all, I would appreciate if anyone has traveled on SQ ex-SYD (SQ220,232,222,234) to share their experience in terms of flight load etc and determine which is the best option. I will be travelling SYD-KUL in February on SQ and the best option for a connection to KUL is SQ232 departing 1240. Which would be the busiest flight of all four in your opinion?

    As for SQ232, that is a good choice too (provided not flight delay).

    AFD in new livery will be visiting BKI today circa 1200LT. catch her while u can!

    p/s: new livery is a thank you to a longest serving staff who has become the head of communications, ground ops etc. bo lingam.

    Hi Yoong, thanks for the info. Makes me itching for a trip to Korea. :p Pix I took I posted on the BKI spotting thread.

     

    Anyway, when the second KE 747 arrive most likely the first would be ready for departure, no? On the 18 the second KE arrived I think around 5 minutes earlier and I think it waited for the first to depart before occupying bay 1. 21 is Saturday so maybe can stay until the B777 arrive. :good:

     

    Wai Ping....the time on 17Nov and 21Nov is the same. Only dates are different. ^^

    KE charters will use Gate A2 (not sure if this is bay 1)...^^

    I tot bay 1 is a remote bay...am I right?

     

    Yeah! I hope u can upload more pix here (espeacially the 21Nov) ^^

    I will upload mine soon (haven't take yet)....hehehe!! :yahoo:
