Oh I see. so QF operates that many flights into SIN. Very bouncy kangaroo indeed. Nice pixs, Hoe Jyh. Er Did you also get any shot of HS-TLC?

  2.

Took this shot when the air is cleared. Someone, please remove that lamp post.

Kian Hong, if that lamp post is removed, there goes your lighting for the shot

Anyway gotta salute your dedication as a spotter what with 25 km drive and pixs. Lovely pixs. Thanks for sharing.

PS Is that a Ford Tsaurus in the pix?

  3. Thanks to all for your very enthusiastic responses . . . let us know what you would like to see from Changi and we will try our best to post them here. Not that we will always succeed (given that some of us do have rotten luck with specific subjects) but we could at least try.

How about a BR 763 shot taken on 12/12/99?

Beautiful Jade8, KC and thanks for sharing spotting timings.

  4. I guess you are on board that time.... :yahoo:

Li Ren, Thanks for your reply. Yeah, I was on board.

Fablee, are you a crew of Eva Air?

Eva used to do Taipei-Singapore-Penang-Singapore-Taipei everyday in the past, and they stopped for a few years not long after 9/11, and I learned that they are doing Taipei-Penang-Taipei now, a few times a week... I liked Eva's 767 doing traffic for Rwy 22 at Penang back then...

Fablee, I have some photos of Eva's 763 in Penang from 2000, though... :)

Teoh, Thanks for your reply. No, I am not a crew of Eva Air although that is one of my preferred airlines. They no longer do TPE-PEN-SIN. Are your pixs posted online?

  5. Dear fellow spotters,

Did anyone spot and happen to take any photo of Eva Air B767-300 in SIN or anywhere else on 12/12/1999? ( I know its way back) It would have been in SIN around 1350-1450 and 1755-1855. Thank you. Fablee

Mods: Not really sure if I posted the thread in the right place. Please accept my apologies if I did not and help move it to the correct place. Thank you.

  6. Sunday 22 June 2008... my lucky day...

    http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d83/bobt...B-187201024.jpg

    CI5867 (TPE-KUL-PEN) touching down on Runway 04.

    http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d83/bobt...B-187201024.jpg

B-18720's thrust reversers kicking up some moisture on the slightly wet runway after a downpour earlier on.

MH1154 operated by 9M-MQE today after a short hop from KUL.

    http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d83/bobt...9PK-LFM1024.jpg

And finally... the most stunning shot of the day... B737-900ER PK-LFM operating the delayed JT287 (PEN-MES) instead of an MD80. I can only hope this is a permanent equipment upgrade, and not just for this flight. No prizes for guessing what I'm praying for if JT indeed has decided to upgrade their equipment to the B737-900ER. Dream... dream... dream... keep dreaming...

Great catch Bob of Lion B739ER. They are pretty proud of their latest toy.

Hope LFF or LFG comes calling at PEN next.

  7. 11/6/08

Had the chance to get some pixes today of WMKP.

A reassuring sight when you should smell smoke-----

    IMG_1713.jpg

I finally saw with my own eyes the selective tinting and its effect on my arrival a/c

    IMG_1758.jpg

Fortunately there was still the original condition section of the transit area from which to get these shots

    IMG_1754.jpg

    IMG_1755.jpg

Finally a personal appeal: Did anyone get SQ192(9V-SVH) landing on 11/6 or SQ191(9V-SVF) departing on 15/6?

    Thank you.
