  1. Righto. IW must have good reasons for doing so considering the additional cost of parking, crew accommodation etc. I expect the commercial load factor for the 7 am flight must be good. I recalled years before when BI used to nightstop their A319 in KCH for an early morning departure to BWN.

Load was pretty bad...except during the holidays. KCH to BWN didn't work with BI 319 nor it it worked with MH ATR 72...I wonder if AK dare try with their 320?

  2. Sad indeed Cathay Dragon as it's their last flight to BKI. AirAsia monopoly now.

Yup, weather hasn't been great for the past few weeks... monsoon season.

Thanks for the reply Jahur, good insight about the plane, and MAS's inflight service which gone pear shaped.

MH no longer do BKI HKG?

AirAsia adds more flights to Kuching

SEPANG, 6 December 2017: AirAsia is all set to inaugurate a daily flight from Kuching to Shenzhen, China, over the Christmas holiday.

Special fares are on offer for the flight that starts 26 December, or Boxing Day, an official holiday following Christmas celebrations..

The new route marks the third international route from Kuching and the third new route launched from Kuching International Airport, this year, after Pontianak and Langkawi.

AirAsia continues to expand its east Malaysia hub as Kuching popularity increases with regional tourists.
