Poor MASKargo B744F behind, wonder what they removed the engine for.
-
Hey Kenneth....no issues whatsoever encountered using my Aust issued MasterCard.
-
Interesting so just to confirm OD have acquired 3 ex Batik B738's -LCC, LCD and LCE?
I'm flying OD PER-KUL-PEN-KUL-PER in August all on B738's, first time I've flown them since flying KCH-KUL back in March 2013 on their second day of operations.
What is further interesting is OD did a lot of advertising here specifically promoting B739ER's operating the route with wifi etc, which didn't occur and only a couple have visited, since then PER is exclusively operated by -LNW, LNV and LNY.....are the rest of their fleet none ETOPS/EDTO rated??
-
Believe -XXT has also followed -XXP in being leased out to Air Algerie.
-
What regos will AK's upcoming A320NEO deliveries be assigned?
-
Airasia X is reducing its wet lease operations this year. But regular seasonal wet lease customer is still taking aircraft from them.
From Skyliner:
9M-XXP ferried 28/05/16 KUL-CZL on wet-lease to Air Algérie
Wonder why -XXP was selected and not the albino -XXA??
-
Just out of interest is KUL-AKL right at the maximum limitations of the MH A333's?
-
There's some recent photos taken earlier this month of -XBB at TLS, another upcoming delivery?
-
Looks like it's -MTJ is confirmed as being the 2nd refurbed A333, so far it's operated a MH129/128 and MH141/140 rotation.
Can anyone confirm?
Also all of the A333 fleet appears to be active at the moment so could -MTB be #3 now it's returned from repairs in Melbourne?
-
Did it fly back to KL unpressurised?
It still hasn't re-entered service so beginning to wonder if it's sustained additional damage, 3 weeks to replace a door seems a tad excessive
-
A photo appeared on the Australia Aircraft Spotters facebook page of it parked up with blue plastic on L1, looked quite sad.
Fingers crossed they'll also replace the grey No#2 engine cowling it's been sporting for a while now too which looks like it came off a -MK* A333.
-
It does appear -MTJ is currently being refurbished.
Also -MTB is still sitting in Melbourne from it's incident late last month, so must of sustained some quite serious damage to L1.
-
Yep it's still stuck in MEL, with L1 taped over in blue plastic saw a photo of it earlier.Indeed MTB is stuck in Melbourne.
L1 door from what I've seen - door frame has been sealed and wrapped over with blue plastic.
Wonder why they just can't take the door off -MTJ which is currently in the hangar at KL presumably undergoing J and Y+ refurb.
-
MH125/124 the Perth flight has been CXLD again today a result of -MTB's incident maybe?
-
If it's -MRM I don't they ever removed the stickers from the last time it was used on those charters.
Saw it parked there last month.
-
MH don't seem to have to much luck in Melbourne.
Saw a report that -MTB suffered a damaged door during a pushback incident on the 1st April.
Beleive it currently in the hangars there awaiting a replacement door, not sure if it's L1 or L2.
-
I flew on -MLI KUL-PEN in seat 5A earlier in the month and the safety card holder was held together with duct tape, looked terrible I very nearly took a photo of it, it appeared to of been that way for sometime.
Also PER-KUL on -MTL the rear lavatory had duct tape on the cupboard under the basin.
-
-MTI and -MTK are both currently active so as per the photo of the delivery schedule that was posted, what's the second aircraft that due out in March?
-
Thanks for the awesome pics.
Did Y class end up with refreshed seat covers?
-
I really do wonder whether these A359's will be used on LHR flights, if they can't find buyers for their 380's.
I'm more inclined to think they'll be used on AKL flights and maybe another new/previously served European destination.
I know that the MH A333's aren't lightweights but the AKL flights must surely be pushing these aircraft close to their operational limits.
-
flee,
Don't forget about the charters, I saw a 380 operating to JED over the weekend with a MH60xx flight number, maybe that's what -MPP is going to be utilised for.
I agree it's certainly odd reactivating a B744 and then going to the effort of repainting it in retro livery.
-
When is -MTL due out of the hangar, I thought SYD flight were due to commence on 23/3?
-
The albino -XXA doesn't appear to have flown in the past 14 days and I've read reports this has also been returned to the lessor.
Also -XXB flew to CGK yesterday as D7688 any ideas?
-
-XXH is back in service and -XXQ became PK-XRA with XT.

Looked to be some activity around -XAA this morning parked opposite the P gates. I recall reading on here that it was covered up but it looked airworthy and clean from what I saw this morning.
