HS-TXA is a Thai Smile A320.
I believe -XXM was also to be transferred across.

Hi All,
As the topic title suggests does AK have A320 bases around Malaysia?
Reason I ask is I was under the impression that their main base was in KL and they had smaller bases at BKI, KCH and PEN but I now realise this might not be correct as from what I can work out nearly all the aircraft end up back at KL overnight with the exception of some India flights.
From recent obervations -AFA appears to be based out of BKI and when I was staying up in Kuching last March -AFG was in and out everyday without fail.
I know QZ has bases in Jakarta and Denpasar.
Look forward to hearing your thoughts and responses.

Great shots.
Love the one of -AHG, I'm guessing another special scheme for AK.
It had been out of action for sometime so a heavy check and repaint explain it's absence.

D7's next factory fresh A333 9M-XXP c/n 1481 is only days away from delivery also.

JA01AJ became PK-AZJ
JA02AJ became PK-AZI
Has -AFR gone off to join Air Asia Phillipines/Zest yet?
-
-SRP was in Perth this afternoon.
Currently operating SQ226 back home.
-
New delivery -AQW is currently enroute to LGK.
-
That's -XXM flee.
-XXL is partially painted in D7 livery.
-
-MLS is on delivery why do MH have so many different rego blocks?
-
-XXM has been delivered all white for Hadj operations?
-
Will the 5 A320's end up on the 9M register or dispersed around the group?
My bet is they end up in the Phillipines/Zest Air venture or AK will retain the sharklet ones and trade some older AK ones to PQ/Z2 like ex AQT.

For those who haven't seen -XXL in the flesh, here she is in her low-cost paint-scheme. It's a real pity they didn't spend the extra few SGD $$$ and paint her in the standard livery, the rear looks very bland.
She certainly stand-outs compared to her factory fresh siblings.
Credit to the original photographer on a lovely shot.

Air Asia's first second hand A333 ex Dragonair 9M-XXL is currently enroute to Melbourne just left KL.
First service for D7?
-
Any word on the delivery of -XXL from Singapore, it's been there for a while? I also believe the future -XXM was ferried to Singapore last week.
Their average fleet age will increase with the next 7 A333 deliveries.
-XXK was the last factory fresh one on order.

Hi guys, just to check is it possible to choose economy seats on the upper deck while performing online check-in? Heard from some forummers that it's not possible on MH A380.
Booked a KL-HKG sector on 21 July and it cost extra to sit on the upper deck but this was in the booking process, we're in 35JK I think.
You might be lucky in OLCI.

These 4 are now confirmed leaving the KA/CX fleet in this order this year so these are the 2013 deliveries:
HWG
HWJ
HWK
HWH
I have rough dates but as always subject to change.
-
Have it confirmed it's the HW* series going to D7.
Not sure about -HYQ at this stage.
-
I'm still waiting for final confirmation from a CX contact but believe these are the other frames involved:
B-HYQ c/n 581
B-HWF c/n 654
B-HWH c/n 692
B-HWI c/n 716
B-HWJ c/n 741
The oldest being early 2004 to the newest being mid 2006 build.
They're all A330-343X's with Trent 700's so lots of commonality with the rest of the A330 fleet
Also D7 have c/n 1423 on the production line so one can only assume this will become -XXJ with -XXK to follow new from Airbus and then the leased birds start with -XXL.
A total fleet of 18 A333's by mid 2014 I believe.
-
Skyliner are reporting Air Asia X have acquired c/n 662 ex B-HWG Dragonair.
Rego allocated is 9M-XXL, not sure if it's for D7's operation on whether it'll be leased to Saudi similar to -XAB and -XAC currently are.
Any ideas?
Aircraft has been ferried XMN-SIN all white.

Am I correct in saying that all the promo shots on OD's website and around the place are taken inside ex -LNB?
I seemed to remember seeing them before their own 2 B739's arrived.
-
Let's keep in perspective...the cause of this accident might not of been pilot error, but an mechanical issue or failure on the the plane. There's reports on another forum that mayday calls were issued.
Pilots might end up being heros.
As a side note flights are still operating in and out of DPS.
-
It's ex 9M-LNB...The one Malindo used for their proving flights last month.
-
It most certainly can! VA uses the 73H from PER to HKT and that's even further!
And it's heavily payload restricted.
MH should be looking at direct PER-PEN flights directed at young families to alleviate having to switch planes.
I very much doubt PER-KCH flights will be sustainable long term as Kuching is to much of an unknown destinations to Aussies, for example when I was telling people of my intention to holiday here 9 out of 10 people claim to of never heard of the place.
Does Perth have a big community of Sarawakians?

-MPM MAS8006 just took off viewed from Anjung Tinjau.....heading towards Klang F1 flyover maybe?

Must be a recent photo I saw -XXN arriving into Perth yesterday arvo it also went to KTM afterwards.
Are you sure this not -XXL?
