It went back into full time service and was a regular here in Perth after it was repaired.
Any chance it's being 'rebranded' or in maintenance?
-
Looks to be -XXS operating the flight.
D7 seem to be operating their entire fleet in recent days with the exception of -XXG which sustained nasty fuselage damage whilst on lease to PIA.
-
Things must be booming for D7 as -XXA and -XXD are now active again.
-XXD is currently on it's way down to PER.
Does anyone know what livery -XXA is in as last month it was parked up at KLIA in all-white following it's recent lease return?
-
Whilst on the subject of Sri Lankan and Indian flights, I see some of the new -AJ* series are ETOPS rated: -AJJ, -AJP, -AJT and U are some of the ones I've noted.
-
Couldn't help but notice there is quite a few D7 A333's parked around KLIA. -XXA (all white) and -XXK (hybrid scheme) both back from Flynas and PIA has returned HADJ leases -XXD and -XXG although the later was terminated early as it suffered a ground accident. These are in addition to the their current active A333's which seem to have low utilisation rates of recent.
Anyone know the plan for the D7 fleet moving forward is?

How long has -AHH had 'Built with GE technology' stickers on the engines?
-
There are photos on flickr showing cn 1619 as -XBA taken just 3 days ago.
Interesting..
-
Airfleets are showing 9M-AJT as having left the fleet and FR24 doesn't show it flying since arriving into KL on the 30/9 from TWU.
-AJT was originally destined for I5 as VT-ATD but was ntu.
Any ideas?

So if I'm understanding the article correctly...PK-AXF, AXG, AXH, AXI and AXJ will be transferred across from QZ to XT fleet but remain on the PK register.
What routes are they going to be operated on then?
-
I'm also led to believe that PK-AXK will transfer across and take up the rego 9M-AJV.
As a side note, does AK have anymore factory fresh A320CEO's on order?
-
-XXG which is one of the A333's on lease to PIA was damaged in a ground accident at Karachi last month when a loader collided with the fuselage near the front cargo door, puncturing the skin.
A quick check on FR24 reveals that the aircraft hasn't flown in some time either.
Does -AJW still wear the Chevrolet SPirit of INdonesia livery?
-
-AFG and -AFO are rumoured to be the ones being leased to PIA.

AirAsia A320-216:
9M-AFL: "SkyRider Club" livery to be leased to PIA Pakistan International Airlines as AP-BLY
9M-AFM: "Hats off to Dato Pahamin" livery to be leased to PIA Pakistan International Airlines as AP-BLZ
Appreciate the updates.
Rumoured to be another 2-3 ex AK 320's heading to PIA in the coming weeks.
-
With XT about to begin DPS-SYD flights, I wonder if any additional A333's will be transferred across and if so, which ones as all the second hand A333's are now in the TAAX and XT fleet.
-
Read this morning that a KA A333 suffered a hard landing and is rumoured to be written-off.
Does anyone know where B-HLJ is parked?
-
Latest word is MH are withdrawing from PER and OD are taking over the route, hence the similar flight timings.
-
Have any B738's been returned and not taken over by the new company?
In comparison to other carriers around the world still operated the B777's all MH needs to do is refurbish and revitalise them and they'd be fine for a good few years service. Many of the worlds top tier airlines still operate them, they are certainly nothing to be ashamed of. Also their A333's aren't that old either I think -MTA hasn't even reached it's 5th birthday.
Honestly they are stuck with the 6 A380's they might as well just accept that and deploy them on markets like SYD or MEL-KUL-LHR, offer seamless one-stop connections and yield the flights accordingly to fill them.
It's encouraging to see the A359's coming on-line, great news for the staff, the industry and passengers alike.
So are -MRB, C, F, G, H, I, N all parked outside the MH hangars at KL?
-MRJ and -MRK have been already scrapped I believe in the US and at TLV respectively.

Very interesting news for someone like myself being a frequent flyer between Perth and Penang.
That said, MH and D7 loads ex Perth aren't particularly good at the present and I'm surprised MH haven't downgraded PER further to a B738.
I'm surprised OD haven't though outside the box and launched direct PER-PEN flights as they would easily fill aircraft, so very much potential.
The proposed flight times of OD151/152 aren't particularly connection friendly either for flights to other MY cities.
In regards to seat pitch I think OD's are capacity restricted due the the emergency exit behind the wing being inoperable i.e. the dreaded seat with no window, hence the generous pitch.

Yep delivery of -XBA next month with -XBB and -XBC set to follow in March 2016.
Be interesting to see where msn 1670 and 1674 end up as they are already partially painted in D7 livery.
I wonder if -XBA is replacing -XAA which was slated for withdrawal in Q3?
-
-XXC has been painted into the new livery same as -XXM with the white engines.
-
Also saw a report on a Singapore blog site that A320 -AFL has been painted all white, was formerly in the Ace Skyrider scheme.
New special livery pending or possibly on the move maybe?
I used to think that A330's would be relatively easy to sell on the market, but none of those former SQ ones have been placed with other operators yet and they are only 5yrs old too.

I was at KLIA on Thursday morning and it never seems to amaze me the amount of aircraft MH has parked off at stand-off bays.
* 2 x A380's parked just behind C14, another had just arrived
* Numerous B772's parked around the place
* 2 A333's parked (1 alongside the A380's and -MTG was parked near the B gates
* Countless B738's parked adjacent to the A and B gates, every bay was occupied with aircraft seemingly parked up for day all closed up.
Surely MH should be firstly looking at off-loading some B737's which are surplus to requirements, commencing with the old colour scheme and non PTV ones first.

-XXM is parked near the MAS Kargo building after it's recent spell operating for TAAX.
Skyliner are also reporting -XXJ has returned back to KUL after returning from its lease to Conviasa earlier this month.
Still no sign of -XBA either.

CX/KA $942
SQ $851
QF is $503 to SIN
It makes me think there is a software issue on the MH site.

D7 has now also placed -XXG back into service following it's recent wet-lease to PIA and subsequent ground collision. That's the entire fleet of ''bought from the factory'' A333's back in-service, although I did see one go to BKI last week, so at least they are keeping the fleet busy.
I notice -XAA is still active, thought this was meant to be gone in Q3.
