  2. Doing Questionnare?

Q1) My answer:744 still be there eventhough A380 arrives. In my opinion, due to hugefuel consumption of A380, 744will be a better option for MAS.

Q2) I think MH wont replace their aircraf lately since B738 & A380 is ordered. However, I would like to prefer 773 & 764^^

Q3) About A330, the aircraft operating in the fleet is about 11+ only. Major distance long routes wont be taken by 738 but short routes like HKG,SIN and BKK routes will be taken by 738.

Q4) Hmmm, both gt cons and pros. A330-long and wide aircraft. B744-two stairs and big. This may be interesting for those hu haven been double deck aircraft.

Not sure about it But jus my opinion. Haha

  3. Flight Cancellation

    6 August 2008

AirAsia would like to notify guests that due to the tropical storm Kammuri that is affecting Guangdong Province in China, flights originating from Kuala Lumpur, Johor Bahru and Kota Kinabalu to the cities of Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Macau and Hong Kong in the morning of 6 August 2008 have been cancelled.

    List of cancelled flights:

AK 42/43 (Kuala Lumpur – Guangzhou – Kuala Lumpur)

AK 50/51 (Kuala Lumpur – Macau – Kuala Lumpur)

AK 56/57 (Kuala Lumpur – Macau – Kuala Lumpur)

AK 76/77 (Kuala Lumpur – Hong Kong – Kuala Lumpur)

AK 80/81 (Kuala Lumpur – Shenzhen – Kuala Lumpur)

    AK 489 (Macau – Kuching)

AK 510 (Kota Kinabalu – Macau)

AK 552/553 (Kota Kinabalu – Shenzhen – Kota Kinabalu)

AK 610/611 (Johor Bahru – Macau – Johor Bahru)

Flights to those cities scheduled in the afternoon are expected to be delayed while night flights are expected to be on time, subject to the improvement in weather conditions.

All guests have been notified via SMS and/or telephone and arrangements have been made to transfer affected guests to the next available flights.

Guests who require further information may contact AirAsia Call Centre at 03-8775 4000 (for calls from within Malaysia) or +603-86604343 (for calls from overseas).

AirAsia apologises for any inconvenience caused.

    Airasia Flight cancellation

Well, it looks like airasia hav bring the news to airasia passengers but wat about MAS?

  4. I can say everytime i on AK flight, they will be using thrust reversers when 32L & 32R in use. Bcaus they need to go to the terminal in tat period of time.

However, some cases such as MAS and other domestic flights do not use reverse thrust as their destination is at main terminal. Hehe.

Oh ya, radzi, by the way, y some reverse thrust doesn't hav noise ones?

    Correct me if I'm wrong.
