This is my first contribution in MW.
This afternoon, there was an official signing of MOU between Futura International Airways and Jetline in Johore Room, Shang KL.
Jetline, using AOC acquired from Seulawah NAD Air a state owned company of Aceh under a Joint-Operation Agreement, shall manage;
1. (The 1st phase) Tour and charter services between Hong Kong - Indonesia (DPS) at 3 x per week,
2. (The 2nd phase) The Umrah and Hajj service between Indonesia and KSA (JED) at 5 x per week.
Equipments that will be used are 737 800's and 767's.
There was also a signing ceremony between ASIANONE (the charter operator) and Jetline. The charter operator has committed certain number of tourists from HKG to DPS VV in order to start the first phase of the business.
In short, Jetline will wet lease a 737 from Futura, position it on behalf of ASIANONE, then fly it for the HKG - DPS route.
