Dont forget. they mentioned the runway only can take the A380.. but left out the taxiway.. so go figure!!!hahhaa...Iggy I don't think the taxiway was even extended to the parellel runway... The suppose to be extended taxiway was still covered with mud... and they say the runway was the last thing... taxiway lei??? gone......

Correct me on this if I am wrong...TPK/ Global upline only finished the runway but not the full parallel taxiway am I right... coz I think I was standing at the suppose to be extended taxiway area... hehe

Read from the papers today that WED (JUNE 17th) prime Minister is coming down to KCH to officiate the opening of KIA extended Runwei...

Come Aug, TR will fly twice a day on certain days into KCH, these earlier flights will allow pax from KCH to do a COMBO to PER...cheapest around CNY will be RM252. By december, it will be twice daily.3K will also mount daily flights into KCH by July, now it is only 4X weekly.
So far no news from BI...so sad, from initial 4X weekly, down to 3X now only TWICE!!

Haha... smalll world. even smaller airport loh.. you took any pics? Yeah.. waited quite awhile before the value for money air is cleared to line up runway.. due to many traffic , like u said it 2MH734, then the value took off, and f50 landed b4 the ak behind value was cleared for lineup.. but hotlah!!!As i was about to descend down to my car below, spotted MAB instead of the MPV bulis, lucky of them not to see me or disturb my vehicle, end up hiding for a good 5 minutes before they decided to leave the perimeter.. How I wished for a 738 lining up
Which side did you park sideways? the inner road or the outer ones, usually they buli the inner road ones lah.. hehe.. but funny thing is, after 11pm or so, they dont even bother to buli anyone else parking by the side to buy McD
