And three I made at home -> EHAM
-
After observing the pictures again and again I made MRA of it.
MRQ at Subang to bad. Well that means or I have to see it in Europe or I have to get back
I also promise some pictures to upload today which I am busy with right now.

Pieter: 67J correct. Inbreuk op mn privacy Only was delayed for 2 hours from AMS to KUL. Arrived only half an hour or 40 minutes late on AMS this morning! Very good. Cost index 99 full speed back home!
I am now going to upload al my pictures on my computer and if I have some great shots, I will post them.
I dont have nightshots from near the runway because the aircraft were moving to fast. I do have some nightshots I made last night at KLIA satelite building! I will upload some of them later this day.
Saw Iran Air 747, Emirates A332, and lots more interesting traffic.
Oh and of the remaining triples of MAS I also got the MRC.
Does somebody know which 777 was in front of the hangar near RWY 32L-14R yesterday? I cant read it on my picture it was to far away, but as far I can see it must be MRO, MRG or MRQ... someone? If it was MRQ, I got all the 777s!
747s I only need MPF and of course MPA...
And I think I also know why I havent seen the blue Air Asia 320 on KUL, I saw a blue looking airbus also there near the hangars so I think thats explaining...
I had a good flight home, only a really anoying German girl in front op me dropped her drink, so my left foot was all wet for a few hours. After the flight she trew away her drink in the air. My neighbour got wet that time. He was so pissed and she was just saying "Oh I was asleep it was just an reaction I couldnt control." Yeah right...
But flight was oke. For the first time I really slept a little inflight. I think up to 2 hours in total!! Heavy takeoff, really heavy. After takeoff a really good sight on Putrajaya and later on KL. Because we were so heavy and still flying very low lots of details on the ground could be seen very good. I saw the "Rotterdam-Bridge" Norman
Regards from Kual..... uhh Holland again

Hi guys,
Just read the BKK old airport will be reopend this weekend so I was on time there!
Further I've some pics from this morning I want to show you. And further I want to say you probably wont here from me for 24 hours because I fly back home tonight.
I want to thank the guys who joined me at the observation hill or at spooky place, the guys showed me around the area/KL or gave me a ride to the hotel, THANK YOU!
Here a few shots of today.

I saw the pictures. To bad I didnt knew it ah well.. Maybe I'll see her as I dont know how registered so I still have the aircraft used to be -MPA. I think I also have MRE at arrival, but I am not sure. Have to check my camera for that. I will check it when I get home, so if you are patient for a couple of days..
-
I think it was, it looks very similiar.
-
I go to Spooky place this afternoon around 5 PM until 8PM I think.
This morning I wanted to go to Observation Hill again very early but it was raining all morning thats why I unfortunately decided to stay in my hotel. So if I dont nail those remaining 3 777s I have to get back Maybe I can join you Pieter in June;) Je vliegt IPB neem ik aan? Net wat voor mij!
Tomorrow I also go early for spotting, when its not raining. And afternoon probably again.
As everyone is not recommanding a visit to Subang because MPA is probably not good shootable I focus on the remaining triples.
Today I saw from my hotelroom an 727 leaving. White fuselage, blue tail, with a white circeled logo.. anyone the airline? I was to late to get my camera I am sorry.

Hi guys, a few pics I made this afternoon! After the thunderstorms of this afternoon they started to use RWY 14L instead of 32R.
Further I still need 3 triple 7s known the MRC, MRL and MRQ. Hope to nail those 3 tomorrow or Wednesday!
Anyone planning to do some spotting tomorrow or Wednesday?
Maybe I'll meet you then, I think I go to Spooky place only. Even I have bad light in the morning, but I've been already send away 2 times from observation hill
I got 2 KLM 744s in one hour time. PHBFN and -CKA, both really fast rotation! Ik stond helemaal op die kisten te kwijlen Pieter! Tis dat ik op vrouwen val, maar anders
This Airbus I specially made for Jonathan!

A few nice ones from today: 18 March @ KUL/WMKK
China Southern 752, when this one was leaving and spooling up I really got goose bumps of it.. it was so amazing, I still had them a few minutes later! Just the good old Rolls Royce!
This 777 MRE was really rotating very fast! We thought of a verry flight to Subang maybe? But it arrived back in the begin of the afternoon. Just has been away for 3 or 4 hours. Perhaps to SIN/WSSS?
PH-BFK, I flew this one back home from KUL last year.
This for now!
Enjoy them.
Best regards from Holla... uhh Kuala Lumpur,
Cornelis

Just unbelievable those beautiful 757s! Flew both NZ7571 & NZ7572 as their former regi's PH-TKA & PH-TKB as they first operated for 10 years in Holland for Transavia Airlines. Still a shame they left us, nice pics though!

Hi guys,
I am in KL from 16 March until 21 March, someone wants to show me around the nice spots at KLIA? I stay in the Concorde Inn those nights. I am really looking forward to it
-
then so is BKK isnt it? But I guess I never can keep my camera in my bag when at BKK Airport!!! I am addicted to my camera!
-
Are they planning to get her up in the air again someday?
Futher whats a recommanded hotel at/near KLIA? the Concorde Inn? Its the best I found!
-
I hope its possible somehow, maybe a zoomed shot of nose section or something. Something is more then nothing and the MPA is one of the only 744s I still need. The MPG I have photographed already one year ago when I was in transfer to Adelaide.

Hi guys,
Next month I come to Asia. I first fly from Amsterdam to Bangkok (KLM), then an onward flight to Koh Samui (Bangkok Airways). I stay there for a week just to relax a little. Then I fly with Bangkok Airways to Phuket where I stay half a day, then I'll continue my trip to my final destination Kuala Lumpur (Air Asia) to have a week of photographing around KLIA.
I have a few questions about my trip.
Is it perhaps nice to stay longer then half a day at Phuket for aircraft spotting?
I also like to go to Jakarta for one day. How is aircraftspotting over there? An opportunity to get some nice shots of the stored aircraft or not at all? (see picture below)
According to airfleets.net 9M-MPA 744 of MAS is stored at SZB/Subang, is this correct? When Yes, any possibility to make a photograph of her?
Is it possible to get most of the MAS (medium/longhaul)fleet on camera in a day or 5/6?
After these 2 weeks I fly back home with KLM.
When I have more questions I'll ask them later on.
I hope for some helpfull replies!
Thanks in advance,
Cornelis Boersma

The trip to ZRH was 520 euros. I had a budget of 1500 euros for travel up to July (So 1000 left). If you have a very good and cheap hotel and flight for me to KUL, tell me then I'll be there, otherwise it is now delayed until July 2008. To combine KUL with BKK or HKG. This summer a trip to DUB-MAN-LHR is planned already, so I hardly cant raise my budget, but still want to have the entire MAS (long-haul)fleet complete! And of course much more airliners. I already have most 744s of MAS, which come to AMS every day as you know. 9M-MPA isnt flying for MH anymore? Dont have her yet, and I do want her, wasnt it stored at Subang? Then I'll have to fly there soon But I also like to see some more of the country, not only aircraft, go to Penang would be very nice also!
-
you dont want to know the price I paid for this flight there, think most people would say I amd10t

Hi guys,
For you its not special anymore probably, but I want to share with you that I finally got her! Yesterday at Zürich, I made lots, really lots of photographs and I want to share one with you. The weather was superb, sunny, almost no clouds. I booked a very last minute flight when I saw at 1 AM that the MRD was comming to ZRH. My flight left at 7 AM, so literally a last-minute
Best regards from a very happy spotter

According to the Finnair website they are going to introduce Kuala Lumpur and Delhi this year. KUL will be flown from May 2007. Flight departing 23.50lt from Helsinki to KUL. It wil be combined with Bangkok now they are going to drop Singapore as destination which is combined with Bangkok now. Source: www.finnair.com choose location The Netherlands!
-
I now found out the website of ZRH airport is showing regi numbers at their website, so thats awesome. Maybe I can book a last minute flight the evening before the MRD will arrive there!
Further I still hope to fly to BKK & KUL in April to get the entire MAS fleet complete of course! First more money needed
Thx for the anwers
Best Regards,
Cornelis

I've seen that LH retro A321 in Frankurt 1,5 years ago, happy me! Too bad it takes lots of money to get every aircraft you want! Cant I win the lottery? When you look at airliners.net there are a few photographers like Sam Chui who travel the entire world, I still want to figure out how they do it? Their job? Or very rich? Someboyd knows?
-
The weather was not very good, correct. Now hope we get those aircraft again someday with sunlight, a big improval for pictures as you all know!
I saw on airliners.net A340s of SAS in Asia, I didnt knew. Never saw pictures of them there. I have all their 340s seen in CPH already
-
Hi guys!
I want to share some nice additions to my photo archive. I made them last Saturday in Germany.
Scandinavian Airlines retrobird. Is SAS flying to Asia? I believe they dont, but I can be wrong! Finnair is flying to Asia also a nice one from Europe. I have their MD11, also the Moomins, and the A340, now still need Santa
This Airbus A318 is one of the first Air France aircraft (I've seen) with a AirFrance-KLM sticker on the nose, while KLM is having those stickers on their aircraft a long time already.
Regards,
Cornelis

What I have experienced last year I would say Finnair is my airline of the year.
Airport... Well Suvernabhumi would never be it with al the problems they have.
For this years airport I think I will choose for Düsseldorf, Germany.
