If it counts: back in April PK-GMV got one leg stuck in the soft bit while negotiating a 180 degree turn before departure from Jayapura

Nil major damage - aircraft was eventually towed back to the apron.

I'm curious to know what its like inside the Sands Casino birds!Few minutes later the rare visitor to Subang, Al Jaber's Airbus A 318 left for Abu Dhabi,POB 13.Wish I can be the no 14...I wonder how's the interior of this A318.. -

Nice catch TK. Reminds me of a few years back when we were sitting waiting and good old Mig 29 came in for a low fly-by. Always full of surprises, SZB

Brilliant idea. Put them in the "sin" (no pun intended) bin to reflect on their actions.Saw a similar thing in SIN a few years back, can't remember the airlines. But ATC cancelled their takeoff clearance (for delaying takeoff and causing a GA) and they had to rejoin the queue again. -
Good to see the BBJ is back in action. Great video's.
Nice pics, TK! Glad you caught the Jungle Jet.

The author of "Gerry Airways" is very well respected and is often a spokesmen for the local media regarding aviation. He has also a valuable contributor to an episode of Air Crash Investigation. Nothing in Indo aviation gets past him!

Does anybody know where VH-VBN is going? and can anyone confirm that -VBM went to SAS?

Many major airports are located some distance from the City Centre - its typically where there is sufficient, suitable land available that does not impede on more important facilities needed closer to a CBD such as housing.
You do have great road systems and an even better train system to KLIA as it is.

I heard a rumour that 9M-AFV is flying KBR-SZB-KUL tonight (in 2045, out 2130).
