A documentary program on the last BA Concorde flight from JFK to LHR had the camera on the floor at the back of cabin, and showed similar flexing of the fuselage. It was more towards 'up-down-up-down' motion.Owh... like 'painting the wall' somekind huh? eheheheee...
Sounds pretty scary but interesting though.. so the planes are designed to behaved (or tolerate?) that kind of 'torture', i reckon.. -
Everybody and every airline company has become hit by this 787 frenzy once it rolled out... and that's not even 1st flight yet... just wait till it flies... with those sexy flexy wings and the engines (20% savings plus funky looking - loves the engine cowling hehehee)... sure orders will keep pouring in... really a big breakthough since 747, i dare say... hope MH will follow suit as well...

Caused by the flexibility of the fuselage; I've flown a lot on the DC-8-63 between AMS and LHR (+ v.v.) on the last row, and you should see the cabin 'sweep' during the flight

We saw a Diamond being t/o at PEN that day during spotting with Pieter, Tze Shan and Adrian. And i saw a few at PEN days before... maybe doing some testing or training...

A friend of mine wanted to try A320 and KLIA. so i had this crazy idea. 1 day, 3 different cities, 3 diff aircrafts, 3 diff airlines:
Sep 10 (mon):
PEN-LGK: FY F50 - 9.25am-10.00am - RM9.99+RM40.00=RM49.99
LGK-KUL: AK A320 - 2.15pm-3.15pm - RM9.99+RM45.00=RM54.99
KUL-PEN: MH B734 - 7.15pm-8.05pm - RM1.00+RM46.00=RM47.00
Total: 151.98 per person... not bad... darn cheap actually... heheheee...

Is Lion Air going to phase out its MD-80s and 90s? I love to see the MDs... classics and kinda powerful...

So i went to Concorde Inn to pick him up and brought him for Malaysian Dinner at Kota Warisan!
Uncle Pieter, it has been a nice meeting and spotting (in a bad weather, in drizzle and in rain) at PEN with you (and Tze Shan and Adrian) last Sunday the 17th. We'll do it again in the future. Hopefully the weather would help..

Balls and nerves of steel...Yup, go around is way much better rather than smokes the tyres or anything... or land somewhere else like what happened last time at PEN.
