Want to understand how transport aircraft systems and automation work ? Boeing and MIT Aero-Astro are offering a systems and automation familiarization course corresponding to those taken by Boeing engineers and airline pilots. Classroom lectures and afternoon/evening sessions using a sophisticated B767-300 desktop flight simulator, computer based training modules, and a real B767 at Logan Airport. You don't have to be a real world pilot, but you should have some familiarity with basic desktop flight simulator flying. Simulator, computer based training, Logan airport trip and Stellar Web site. Intensive course. Morning lectures open to MIT community,no registration required. Computer-based sessions will be 6 p.m.- 8 p.m., Room 33-218; Logan Airport trip is in the evening of February 2.
