Specifically I was interested in the 'Public Affairs Specialists' heading: You will manage SIA's corporate and brand communication through stakeholder, media and external relationships as well as actively manage issues to boost and protect Company's reputation. You will provide strategic counsel, liaise and assist international markets with public relations and public affairs management, and assist the marketing effort through product and brand communications and community relations. In addition, you will monitor and anticipate aviation issues and aeropolitical developments in SIA's major markets, and provide communications expertise and counsel to line areas of the Company. Singapore Airlines is seeking expressions of interest for appointments at Executive, Assistant Manager or Manager level. This seems so me! Unfortunately I have to wait till at least 2 years after I leave uni (need 2 years of experience with PR). I wonder if my job as an Electorate Officer counts - can't recall the number of media releases I've sent, journos I've spoken to, letters to various Ministers and government depts I've written, and publicity materials I've done.
