The team of a Australia's Royal Flying Doctors Service (RFDS) took the patient over and flew her to hospital.

The Malaysian Boeing resumed the flight and reached Adelaide with a delay of 2.5 hours.

The woman had been in intense care in Adelaide a month ago because of pneumonia, then recovered and was on a holiday in Malaysia together with her husband. On the way returning home she collapsed in the airplane and fell unconscious prompting the crew to divert to the next suitable airport at Learmonth.

The plane of the RFDS was enroute from Meekatharra,WA to Tom Price,WA with a patient when the emergency call arrived. The plane was diverted to Learmonth and landed before the Boeing. The team continued treatment and delivered the now two patients to a hospital in Perth about 2.5 hours after arriving in Learmonth.

The Flying Doctor said, that the woman, a diabetic depending on insulin, appeared to have a lung infection.
