  1. Maybe stop serving nasi lemak then. Do noodles or wrap or sandwiches. Not everyone can stomach nasi lemak in the morning.

If they can't serve cucumber or anchovies, they could be creative by having pickled veggies (acar) instead.

Regarding comparison to AirAsia, many trip reports I encountered stated that many passengers purchased the meals onboard. So AirAsia crew might have to reheat the same number of meals per flight.

They had sandwiches loooong time ago, packed in a beautiful packaging.

But the sandwich left a lot to be desired.

Any cabin crew can confirm? As far as i can remember the ikan bilis and peanuts are served in a small plastic container. That should not be that hard to serve.

I can only say that this crew is being defensive. During my recent flight on GARUDA INDONESIA (Fairul can confirm this too), their flight is superb, and they even serve snack box on a 55 minutes flight. My flight, CGK - SUB, took about 1 hour and 10 minutes and their service was far beyond what MH offered to us.

  3.

As much as i don't like this flight having tried it once.......... the stupidd10t in me went and booked it AGAIN... for March :o

I think there's something wrong with me (it wasn't price driven, I booked it because i have an unchangeable MH714 DPS-KUL coming back the same day and didn't want to risk a delay on MH715... I know it's the inbound flight for MH714 but i wasn't thinking straight at the time :( ) bodoh......

As they say in Indonesia.. between the time of 0235 and 1310 .... aku ngukur bandaranya!

But new DPS is good to measure what! :p wide enough to wander from one end to another....

  4. 2013 has nearly come to its end....
so, I am concluding the year with this map

    map_zps2ee3a22d.gif

As far as 2013 is concerned, I have achieved a few magnificent flying experience.

    1. my first ride on 787 ( BI KUL BWN KUL)

    2. my first ride on 767 (BA ARN LHR, BA LHR ATH)

    3. my first ride on 757 (FI LHR KEF)

    4. my first ride on 737-900 (OD JHB KUL)

    5. my first ride on Avrojet 85 (AF FLR LCY)

    6. my first ride on Saab340 (BE LSI ABZ)

In 2013, my total flying experience has matched the distance to the moon (since I took my first flight in my entire life)

Also, I have flown on 20 airlines (that includes my first time on Royal Brunei, Kuwait Airways, Estonian Air, Aegean Airlines, LOT, FlyBE, EasyJet and Ryanair *ahemmmmm*, Icelandair, WowAir, AirBerlin, Malindo Air, TigerAirways, Norwegian Air Shuttle), covering 40 airports, 20 aircraft types, 56 routes in 23 countries.

KUL is the most visited airport (22 times), LGW comes second (12 times) and LHR and PEN share the third spot (10 times)

I also manage to fly into/out of all London major airports, LHR-LGW-LCY-LTN-STN-SEN

and I did my first runway crossing with the help of traffic light (GIB)

So, this year has been a wonderful aviation year for me, and hopefully 2014 will be better than this year's experience!
