  1. wat should we include in the application and resume??

Normally you have cover letter, then you list down your qualification. Then you send together with your certificate copy(as required by the advert).

There's a lot of sample resume available online.

Alternatively, you can also open Microsoft word, go to help and type there 'sample resume'.

  2. greeting...i had juz finished my spm & is EXTREMELY interested to join the fleet in MAS/SIA/any of them XD

so,i see there's so many pilot here in this forum.can u give some prospective of this job?i mean, wats the future of it?have u time for ur personal bussiness?is it enjoyable @ stressing?and..umm..im curious bout the salary!how much eh?for starting maybe? xp

    The Good...

For a start, this is the best thing to do mate. You get paid to fly something fast, and visit places with a lot of stewardess inside the plane. The future of flying as what most people want(i think) is to be a captain of the biggest jet. Salary also syiok. for a start you'll be paid awesome RM700 as a cadet pilot :p .once cleared your training, you'll get about 12x your cadet pilot salary. :good:

    The Bad...

What ever you do in life, as long as its a work, stress will tag a long as well. That's why John Travolta enjoy flying...cos he never actually work.

With all this, study time very short but whole life you'll be doing a lot of test like simulator etc...

Most of the time you will be away from home.

  3. My chauffeur on the tarmac. A funky gentlemen! I remember him well. He's been attached to TGG way before I knew how good screwing was....haha! :p And who wanted to leave St Maarten's anyway......??? :pardon:

Haji Hasbullah owns 1 or 2 experimental aircraft. In fact there was an article on newspaper featured his son and the experimental plane. Ask him a bit la...who knows can get free ride around KT town.

  4. The engine failure was caused by a crack in the fuel pipeline. They lost fuel pressure and eventually it led to the engine failure. All HM aircraft was grounded for around one and a half hours and they replaced the fuel pipelines of all the aircraft. They were back in the air again for night flying later in the evening..

Why change all? All the pipeline long due already?

  5. Likewise, potong saga in KL.

    :drinks:

Now got Proton Saga NG already...hehe...

I'll be JOGging there in March! But not on MH, on AK... karcis gratisan lho!!!

And I hope it's on the A320. I'm not really a fan of 'Buses but I have to admit I like the misty air-cond vents which cools the air as you come in from the blistering heat out there on the tarmac!

Aisey Ewan, you can get that misty aircond vents if you fly fokker 50 early morning.

  6. From a friend of mine who flew on MH's inaugural flight to JOG.

"Overall it was an enjoyable trip and look forward to be there again in future. Visited Borobodur, Merapi and Prambanan on Saturday. Hired a taxi for only 350,000 rupiah for the trip. Shopping was done on the first day at Malioboro and memang murah!. The only problem - MAS is using the antique 737 to JOG plus the stupid snackbox for 2 and 1/2 hour journey - memang tak berbaloi.

Melia was great and I've earned another 500 Enrich points for that plus triple miles from MAS. Total points is around 2,100 for the 3 days holiday. Not bad."

Conclusion: Everyone hate the OLD aircraft and the snackbox.

Antique 737, just like taxi in Kota Bharu using antique Mercedes...hehe...

  7. hey people, dont worry about the captain.

he's the pic. its his life and yours on board.

what if he speaks of the truth?

what if he 'sense' something amiss when he did the take off...

    okay...

Old, obsolete it's all true.. compare old Honda city with New honda city...

New ones will give u LESS delays and problems..

Delays = old equiptment, compare 737 to 320...see it?

Then, the flight should not take off in the first place. As a pilot, you're supposed to give confidence to the passengers not scare them.
