  1. Delta consdering NRT-KUL route after they took over NWA Narita hub. They plan the route to be equiped with 757 or 767.

Delta might avoid Singapore due to competition with Star Alliance network which already have many flight to the US. What's more, Continental will be withdrawn from Skyteam this coming June and joining Star Alliance. After failed to merge, United Airline now partner with Continental for Star Alliance and considering Singapore route. This would be a competition for Delta.

After delta fully utilize Narita hub, they will consider more asia route. Singapore maybe on the list as code share with JAL.

I know that Delta confirmed some flight to Australian destination to be operated from NRT and ATL. They also put Vietnam on their list to be operated from NRT. Other planned new route including Johanesberg, Kuwait, cape town, Shanghai, Nairobi, Ho Chi Minh, Luanda and more..

Delta now the world biggest airline, they can fly anywhere they want.

Yup it's more then 70, i don't remeber exact number but it's 100+ telephoto lens.

Great shots of "Nairobi", Azuddin; treasure them, as the Queen will change to Tripple-Seven as from March 2009 :pardon:

Thanks Pieter. I want to make a big print of that Nairobi. Will it be 777-300ER?

  4. Everytime I travel, normally I would give a friendly "Hello" to the person next to me. I do respect their privacy and I don't start any chat unless he start first. Most the time, I will get a quiet guy next to me in Economy, and normally get friendly one when I travel Business class.

If they start talk, I just carry on. It actually help me a lot when I first travel alone on long haul Trans-Pacific flight.

  5. Repaint job done in KUL hangar 6. Its at the left corner (view from Rwy 32L) of the new MAS hangar.

Azuddin, cannot lar... i would have done it earlier too...:p

Paint removal was carried out on board the whole fuselage. Its paint removal...how to wallap removed paint?! :p

All exterior fuselage components were re-used back, and each were undergoing paint removal, so its pretty impossible to take things out...

unless wallap the ENGINES laa...!!!

Sad sight! Paint removal was done VERY FAST! 1 day only...all stripped!

Sad it couldn't make it for third MW anniversary....

    I see

I thought the removed paint will look like a chip pieces just like what i see when I was in Houston hangar where a Southwest 737 being strip off to be repainted into new livery. From what I see, they didn't use paint remover, but something like a scraper. The remove paint look a lot like a bits of debris pieces.
