  1. Just saw on someone's twitter, @DhesiBahaRaja (seems to be a professor. Just read his last few tweets for updates on the victims).

The co-pilot is alive but in the Red Zone (Critical). The rest seems to be stable. Co-pilot has been transferred to Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

My apologies for the earlier misinformation.

  2. Latest media statement from MASwings reports 6 injuries and no fatalities.

  3. Our PM and DPM arrived at BKI for the Msia Day celebration using seperate planes, arriving just less than an hour apart. PM in the Comlux A320 while DPM in the Global Express. Makes your blood boil at how much money they burn

I think flying on separate flights is a requirement. In the unlikely event of a fatal crash, the country's matters can be continued. However, they could've taken two separate COMMERCIAL flights.

  4. From yesterday (3/9/2013)

    Firefly's new pride (and joy?).

  5. Saw on FR24 that MH 716 (9M-MSB) turned back to CGK midway through and was squawking 0000. Any idea what happened?

Just googled transponder code 0000 and it is for unreliable SSR data. Does that warrant for an air turn back?

Note: It's on its way back to KUL now after a 3 hour delay.

  6. Can be considered an SZB regular these days.
