try posting the xiamen in a.net. hopefully johan lundgren is happy with the shot. and it was a difficult shot considering the distance. wonder why your cx is not as good as xiamen. lets try again the next time we go.

the best spot is to stand near the fence (to the left or right of the rwy lights depending where the sun is). than suddenly you see aircraft appearing from the trees on the other side of the road.

Picked up Imran at 1730 for KLIA spotting. Reached Weather Centre at around 1810 to join Nizam (who departed for PEN at 2050), Norman, his wife and son. Fitri Shukri joined us moments later after shooting at 14L.
Here are some shots taken btw 1830 to 1915.
Imran was very happy to see his adopted home airline with World Cup sticker. Listening via the scanner, one of the pilots was a Malaysian judging from his "Malaysian accent and the last words of Selamat Malam"
'Victor Juliet'. Second last flight SQ117 to SIN departed at 1905
Light load or early rotation. Or was it due to its massive wing?
I am happy with this one. Took off at 1915. Wei Jonathan....new aircraft in MalaysianWings rego B-5212!! Why? Because it shaved its eyebrow!!
