mushrif,
the most delicious food i had today was briyani bukhara during dinner with tk, gavin, fendy and jonathan. hehehe.
-
the most beautiful cockpit of all cockpits.....
-
i guess the bigger an equipment is, the smaller is the hand brake.
this is the smallest handbrake i have seen in my life. my kelisa handbrake is gigantic compared to this.
the purser personal pc onboard. he/she can control everything from temperature to viewing VOD movies. notice the pull out keyboard. eh whats the passwrod aaaah??
-
i enjoy every picture that you have posted. the shot a346 and a380 in that small taxiway is beautiful. plus the rocket take off of a346. gorgeous!
but my favourite shot is the front of T7LR. Fierce yet beautiful. KUL-LAX or NWR with two engines. This is what i call the most amazing invention of mankind. Scares the hell out of the two airbuses.

idham, the person sitting next to me is a good friend of mine at MH's hangar. He was basically explaining to me about this button that button, this panel and that panel bla bla bla .....and so forth. And it was free of charge tuition for me. hehe.
His finger basically moved everywhere. Very hard for me to get into my head of his detailed explanation on almost everything. In the picture he is basically pressing the screen option button for the 'Navigation LCD Screen'. Express tuition and like i said, it was FOC. All I could remember saying were "...aaahhh, ooohhh,ok, wow, awesome, huh?, oh i see....." hehehe

hope all of you are having a relaxing sunday. here are few more pictures inside the cockpit or 'reban ayam'. hehe...enjoy
The tiller for maneuvering the nose wheel. However during push back/towing " do not play with it !". hehe.....see the 'Caution' remark.
Left side of overhead panel. Self explanatory. Notice the 'No Smoking Knob"...it is either you chose 'on', 'on' or 'on'. 'off' taraaak....
Right side of overhead panel. Self explanatory. But notice the Right Wiper Knob down below. Its either 'off', 'int', 'low' or high'. Just like my kelisa without the 'int'. Wei TK, what is 'int' for aaaaaa??? Sorry picture a bit blur.

Imran, here are few more........
very clear view of the two "t*ts" hehehe
divided into few sections. mind boggling to me. electrical, hydraulic, engines and fuel mgmt, landing lights/anti ice, beacon, strobe lights, air conditioning and pressurization, wiper bla bla bla......

Two spotters managed to snap shots of 'Romeo Juliet' taxying to the open bay accompanied by FRA fire trucks and 'follow me' vehicles. Hehe, just an illustration using diecast model.
Slowly slowly to the open bay.
Photo taken by someone who wants to be like Sam C.

the farmers in japan are quite powerful. govt has to consider their plight seriously considering shortage of flat land.
i was told by TK that widebodies are able to land there but no to take off.
-
so radzi, things to remember based on TK's experience.....
"never ever leave your camera at home when u fly!"
-
hey these are good photos! very clear as well. never seen on TV channels when they covered the event.
thank you for sharing bro!
'tower control, kelisa 787.....stopping"

nick.....not hush hush.........but 'exclusive on malaysianwings'.
-
few more pictures.....enjoy. will upload some more shots.
Screen very dusty. soory aaah. forgot to wipe. by the way, fuel tank is drained out during maintenance.

6 fire trucks escorting. wuhuuuuuuuuuu. this romeo juliet loves getting attention i think. first she did it in zrh, now in fra.
imgine all eyes (mostly) in FRA concentrating on juliet while she gracefully taxied to open bay.
HAZANI........now the attention is focussed on you. all infos and the parameters on the aborted take off are given. so FS images soon aaaaaahhhhhhh. (hang tukaq laaaa muka TK ngan captain dengan muka aku ngan gavin. jump seat hang bo laaaa nizam ngan imran. pi buat muka imran tu panic sikit) (translation for pieter: why dont you replace tk and the captain with me and gavin. you can put imran and nizam in the jumpseats and make imran looks panic)
-
Alamak.....you didnt bring your D70. aiyoooo.........
weather should be perfect for spotting.
so goyang kaki dalam bilik hotel laaa (direct translation to pieter: shake legs in hotel room laaa)
-
frankly, for some of us including me, i would be happy to experience it just once! should be fun than sitting on a roller coaster. i dont know....the feeling of G force may be.
but i for sure i be very scared if a b734 aborted in TGG. sure the aircraft stuck in the beach.
-
yeah man! scary oooooo. when i spoke to TK, he sounded as if it was no big deal. may be because he is a pilot. he is trained for such mishap i guess.

About 6 hours ago, MH005 aborted take-off in Frankfurt Main. The plane currently remains at the airport. Co-pilot for the flight was none other than our MalaysianWings member, TK.
I received his sms at 2053 local. Then later called him to get further info. Here are the brief details:
-Aircraft T7 "Romeo Juliet" (gosh.......guys....remember this aircraft?? zrh??
-Take-off aborted at 100 knots
- Diagnosis - Oil Pressure ZERO!!!! (forgot to ask which engine)
- Aircraft to remain on ground until temporary replacement of Trent.
When I spoke to him, he was already back at the hotel having some drinks. hehe. He is not sure how long he will be stranded.
So our TK is fine and kickin'.

you know what is the problem spotting in malaysia under bright sunlight?????
you can have the best long long lense for nose shots far far away from you but there is no way you can solve one problem.........
