Why must they change it. . More' extra money' will be spend to rename the airport, change the sign board, etc. . .

how about physics and add maths? Isnt that is the requirements for pilot cadet.?Add math will be the advantage . . But they only require Math.
While minimum requirement for Physics is A2 , but for those who did not take Physics during SPM ( Example : Art stream ) , they can use theire General Science 's Subject to apply

pergh! i thought to be a pilot is only for science stream students....hehe...may i ask,just science subject only?? how about maths?Both Art stream and Science stream have mathematics . Their minimum requirement for math is A2.

It is not removed . But it is now at the 'other' section.

I think they required cadet with 1st class medical certificate and hold type rating on B737,A320 fleet as Icouldn't proceed to the next registration stage with none of the requirement above.
But the title is 'cadet' pilot.
If they require the type rating, it shall be for direct intake

IMO from what i heard, AK's cadetship, they only apply the loan for you.After you graduate, you will have to repay the loan.
So MH also did the same way right?I thought, for the loan,they just support us half of it.
lets say,RM200k,so they just pay for the loan at RM100k only,then another RM100k we need to pay by ourself.
Am I right?
Both Cadet sponsorship is just like loan for MH and AK
We neede to be bonded with the airline for certailn of year , and they will deduct our salary .
For AK, we will need to pay RM35k upon entering the flying school, and if not mistaken, we are taking the loan from bank, not ak. AK just arrange the loan from bank for us.
Correct me if i am wrong.

The best way sure is to get the Airline Cadet Pilot loan.
Private is quite risky if did not get job after graduate, especially for those that making a bank loan and their house as collateral,

It is normally announced around March and April for MAS and Air Asia.
Try to look for the star , they will advertise it

Remember a few month before going to the MAS Complex to sit for the cadet pilot test. Even standing outside the simulator is already awesome, cant imagine if i am inside it.
