Thanks for sharing. I think Beijing airport's T3 is just a vast terminal with not much in the interior to see. Singapore Changi T3 and Madrid's interior seems pretty interesting.

I don't think they should put the unbuilt airport on the list. They claim it is interesting by just looking at the renderings? I think it is best to wait until one terminal is completed before placing it on the list. Rendering could be deceiving at times and they are likely to change as well as time progresses.

  2. so many ailing airlines should the air canada tango fair its a win win situation

    examples

if bob buys a fair from toronto-montreal i'm not sure cost beacause internet not letting me to go on air canada.com

its called the tango fair it on gives 25% of miles earnt on the full fair rule out a cancelation$5 off catering$6 full mileage $125 only carry on $3off a seat reservation$3 off

This system could work as flights around europe are short and this fare structure could compete with LCC :drinks:

    Fake Qantas worker guilty

    Jonathan Dart

    September 23, 2008 - 10:52AM

Australia's aviation watchdog says checking engineers' credentials would be an inefficient use of resources, following the conviction of a man who used fake documentation to dupe Qantas into giving him a job.

Timothy McCormack, 27, posed as a licensed aircraft engineer for almost nine months before being discovered in July 2007.

He performed 30 maintenance checks in that time, including one on a 747-438 jet with the registration number VH-OJM, the same plane forced to make an emergency landing in Bangkok in January due to a power failure.

McCormack changed his plea and yesterday admitted 42 charges at Sydney District Court.

Among the documents he admitted to falsifying were forged exam results for the Civil Aviation Safety Authority's aircraft maintenance engineer licence.

A CASA spokesman today said that, although the authority is responsible for issuing licences, it does not check them on a regular basis.

"We don't have any processes ourselves for checking engineers' licences, but we don't need to because it's incumbent upon the employer," he said.

"We issue the licences, but licensed engineers don't operate within a vacuum. They operate in an open environment, whether it be a big company like Qantas or small maintenance operation, and they're the ones with the knowledge of their workforce.

"It wouldn't be a sensible use of our resources to [check licences]. In 10 years I've never seen anything like this."

CASA was criticised last week in a Senate inquiry, which described its response to a recent spate of Qantas maintenance problems as "blase".

Comment has been sought from Qantas.

Passenger found dead on Chennai-bound flight

    Saturday, 16 August , 2008, 23:48

Chennai: A 27-year-old wheelchair-bound passenger travelling here from Kuala Lumpur on a Malaysian Airlines flight on Saturday evening was found dead nearly 30 minutes after take-off, an official said.

"The passenger, Naina Mohamed Sathiq Ali, asked for water and visited the toilet soon after take-off from Kuala Lumpur. He returned and suddenly slumped on his seat," said an airline source.

"An doctor aboard the aircraft pronounced him dead," he added.

On the aircraft's landing here, the body has been taken for an autopsy, the source said.

Police officials here, however, ruled out any foul play. "The passenger seems to have died of natural causes according to reports available to us," said V Varadharaju, Superintendent of Police in-charge of law and order at the Anna International air terminal.

  5. it says on bne airport mh operating <_<

I guess there are several mistakes on MH website, I mean the newly "renovated" website.

There was a similar case involving flights to BNE stating KL operated the flights, unless we

are all not aware of the new services by MH' code share partners.

even adelaide sydney melbourne and perth operated by kl

Right engine faile but the left wing broke?? Something is very wrong...Thank you for reading, hope somebody could do something about this post....

Ok...the post has been removed...must be some stupid joke!! not funny...anyway, It got me in the panic mode for a second...it was about a DJ flight crash in Dunedin Airport...thank god nothing happened...sorry for the false alarm guys...sorry again...

That's why you don't believe everthing on wikipedia

  7. Sebetul nye sapa gadoh ngan sapa? Setahu aku selama ni AK yang dok jolok MH hari hari, MH buat diam je. Sekali MH jentik, AK terus melalak. Lari kat Gomen dah tu bising kat paper. Diorang rogol RAS sampai hari ni pun satu negara buat diam je....

    Rough translation in Manglish;

Actually who fight wit who? All this while AK always poking MH but MH keep quiet only. One time MH poke back, AK straight away run to Gomen and media. They did a good one on RAS whole country turn the other cheek.

Now let customer and market decide la....

    What is Manglish

  8. mh should make a relationship with a Airline like Emirates so it could get into an Alliance. As most of you know Emirates is expanding very fast. I do belive KLM codeshares with MH on the KL-SYD-BNE-KL route according to BNE airport website. So there could be an opputunity for MH to join Skyteam but then we have AF. :drinks: Besides MH needs to make a better product.

  10. MH tried LHR-LGK, AK tried BKK-LGK, both went kapot!

Which other international airport then that we can suggest to Dato Seri Azalina to be connected with LGK? I am thinking MES, but who want to fly the route? Kartika Airlines? Jatayu? Sriwijaya?

Maybe FY can try a triangular PEN-HKT-LGK-PEN if they have the resources to do so.

LGK should have a regional airlines serving the island, with their primary hub there. Take cues from Cebu Pacific, Aloha and Hawaiian. Hey, even Riau has an airline!

maybe syd-bne-lgk could work but it would have to be B737-700ER OR WITH RANGE but no malaysian nor australian have 700er OR BWN-LGK BY BI with a319
